This was another device I was seriously considering when looking at the small specs. In the hand, this phone phone felt wonderful with a solid feel to it. The love charm was broken though as I discovered that the 8mp camera (with dual LED flash no less), had no autofocus!
I remember most Nokia phones were highly praised for their cameras and image quality that rivaled most point & shoot cameras, the Astound felt like a sharp stick in the eye. 8 megapixels of fuzzy photos that looked no better than my old BlackBerry 8310 produced.
Video capture on the other hand was rather decent and on par with most current smartphones capturing at 720p. Focus however, was still a problem.
I will admit that I don't have much experience with Symbian based phones but as I drilled through the menus and settings, it does show a bit of age like the BlackBerry OS but it's not so much of a bad thing. Longtime users will feel right at home looking at a fresh coat of paint.
Overall, the Astound is a decent value, this phone would have been a grand slam if autofocus was added to the 8 megapixel shooter on the back. Nokia die hards looking for the best, look elsewhere.
For the rest of us, the inviting price is a great plus wanting to make a move to smartphone territory. Pick it up and play to see if it "fits" for your needs if you're not looking for an Android or BlackBerry device.

Nokia is only good for nescent people oaveraging technology smart phone but lack of feature that you may need to inquire the hard way yourself. Some difficult are data either you buy it or download. But in a hardway see to it p if the phone facing camera make sure work okey ,the feature dual flash, you have to check that flashlight work as well .if you buy a phone like this ,think money worth a value.

Please tell me,what is the different between Nokia c7 and Nokia astound,what do you mean in Nokia astound has 350 internal memory and Nokia c7 not?
