kansi, 08 Jul 2012i am using e5 from last 6 months recently i have noticed th... moreHi Kansi, I just can tell that I don't have your applications installed, but with WhatsApp, if the data connection is lost, if will try to use Wifi if is defined and available, like at home.
There are some applications which are connected all the time, and you can't download the appl, like WhatsApp. IS always up and connected, I gues that is what is happening. Is not wrong, is just the way it works.

The Sony X10 is a complete different phone and OS type. You're copmarying an Andriod touch phone with a Symbian qwerty non-touch one. A more fare comparisson woyld be with a N8 or N9.
Appart from that, and I understand your comments, me, as E5 user, I can tell that is a very good phone. I like Symbian, after some time I can navigate quite fast where I want to go. The screen is just 2.4" with 256K colors.. I think it uses it at 100%, taking all the advantages if the size and colors. Multitasking is ok, Wifi works, as well as other apps. And mainly, battery backup is quite good, really good I would say for a 1200 mAh one. And of course, a real qwerty keyboard is so nice to have. The 5MP camera is just fine, not excellent, not awful. Sound quality is quite good (with good headphones), music and radio are ok.
I think Sony itself has superlative quality in several fields, like sound and camera. But again, is not a fare comparisson against the E5, look for a similar model to do it.
Just an opinion... in my case so far I'm quite happy with my E5.
