i bought my nokia e5 about 1 month ago, red in colour, made in korea but the case(box it come with, dey wrote nokia e5 special edition) but people say e5 special edition is a fake phone.is it tru.thanks

If ... moreYes, I also thought it was extremely unlikely that Netqin was causing the restarts, but when I reinstalled it after a hard reset, the problem returned! Therefore I removed Netqin for good, and my E5 hasnt restarted even once in the last 3 months. There may just be some other simple explanation for the restarts, but I am not reinstalling Netqin again. Anyways, during the time I had Netqin, it never detected any virus. If ever I get a virus, which is extremely unlikely, I will just hard reset the phone.

1 month ago i removed the youtube from E5 mobile and till now i unable to download again it from ovi/nokia store. it show the massage youtube is unactive to download in E5 mobile. Please provide the idea how to download youtube in E5.

AnonD-11998, 30 Nov 2011I had the same issue sometime back. After uninstalling Netq... moreNetQin did not cause restarting... Someother app did... If your phone keeps restarting, all you need do is backup ur data and Hard Reset your phone/Upgrade Firmware. Hard reset is *#7370#

After uninstalling Netqin anti-virus and Mobile guard, the problem was gone. This was about 3 months back, no problems since. I am not sure if Netqin was triggering the restarts, anyway if you have it installed, get it uninstalled and see if it solves the issue.

hai dear e5 users i was updated new firmware version...
new firmware version 081.004.c00.01 on last month
pros:
home browser speed increased.
mail usage amazing like a laptop computer, even beats antroids fryo os
quick office updated
real player online visualization speed increased
general phone UL speed increased
ovi store updated
phone memory increased
specially no bugs even heavy usage of internet downloading...
cons:
battery back up slightly decreas
multiple marks in message is absent
few problems in nokia pc suite
overall NO BUGS and am happy much about this firm ware updation
note: i was dirctely update version.041 to 081.004

After used it about a year, E5 give me some advantage and disadvantage.
E5 Advantage.
-fast conection
-look nice and slimmy
- Record clear
- nice bady with inox and smooth
- fair weight, and quality
E5 Disadvantage
- electric shock
- slow wifi and internet
- Stucking rarely
- music sound spread.

i love dis handset. it has every thing i need in my business phone. i use it as a modem, as a e mailer,as a bulk sms sender,music..I'll use it until it'll get broken in to two pieces...
