its a very nice phone.I always liked nokia
drawbacks - do not take pic with flash ,,its no use.
and i think there is no option to turm off flash and camera sound permanently and you need to switch the flash off everytime you want to take a pic
otherwise its a very good phone

been using this E5 for 2 weeks now, no complains, very smooth, nice feel, elegant, camera above average, music is fine, battery life last 3 days with moderate use, 1.5 days for heavy use, don't face any probs according to other users. Only video call camera missing. I recommend this phone if you don't bother with video calls, u get all (except the front camera) more than what you pay for. overall i give this set 8/10.

But from what i understand, you want to know how to turn off your Wi-Fi to save battery, also, how to set it as Top Priority. Also, why some of your mails are not showing. Now, lets go!
1. To turn off your WiFi, do this Menu>Cntrl Panel>Settings>Connection>Wireless LAN, then set show WiFi availability to Never. Done!
2. To set WiFi as Top priority, do this Menu>Cntrl Panel>Settings>Connection>Destinations>Internet. Press options, then select change priority and move it up to first. Then go back once, press options, default connection, then set ur WiFi AP under 'Internet' as default. Done!
3. Why some of your mails are missing is probably because they are older mails and 'Nokia Email' only shows your mails from 2 weeks ago.

let me start with Pros : email works seamlessly (I have configured the client with hotmail, yahoo and gmail.. Absolutely cool). Nothing better than the native youtube client and the internet radio...! Flawless!! Best part, its support for MS office files.... Great support for apps and excellent page format of notes, documents and webpages.....Super nice keyboard with ctrl key and the ability to use ctrl+a etc like we do in windows.... Too loooong a list to explain....
The Cons...
Horrible hard volume control... It got bad within first month and worse... No keyboard control for volume for the native music player.... I had a hard time searching for a third party mp3 player (thank god, found a good one). The screen too is horrible.... Within a week I had so many scratches despite my handling it like a baby.... Bad bad video resolution.... Bad bad flash and camera (except for the color profile).... Really bad bad dimming and slow flashing main screen.... Very irritating when you have to read for a long time... And God when you stand at bright daylight its shuts off completely for a while!!!
But overall considering the cost and the sturdiness (I dropped it pretty hard many times but still everthing is intact and working perfectly fine).. I would still vouch for E5...:)
