hie ijust bought this phone e5 but ive got problem,ive got phone icon with cross and ma facebook is locked ive phone cell c to help and no one willing so ineed to know what to do cause i cant used ma facebook anyone who can help please send me an email is makhosimakhaza@yahoo. com now i cant enjoy ma phone

ali imran, 07 Sep 2011is this phone has tourchyes, this phone has torch function via flash light.
When the phone is in homescreen just press and hold the spacebar button for few seconds then torch function gets on. To off, press and hold menu key for few seconds.
You can do this also when the phone keypad is locked but the light stay on as long as u keep the spacebar button pressed or else it gets off.

Could u pls explain the exact procedure.
I install all my applictions on memory card to keep the phone memory free as much as possible.
Phone memory has more than 140mb free memory then also it shows the same message.
Where to move and how to open directly.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2011i think you configured some e-mail account .. if u dont wan... morectally I had E72 earlier which had push mail as well as lotus traveller. I was just wondering if I get the same push mail features as well as lotus traveller feature if I opt for E 5. Pl advise. Regards

internet connect auto... morei think you configured some e-mail account .. if u dont want to keep connecting your phone to gprs, then dont configure push mail.
configure your mail account as simple IMAP/POP3 account and set it for manual update.

Poo, 10 Sep 2011Me n my fiancee hv been using this phone from a few days ba... moreto solve problem go to the messaging app, and the go to options, from there go to sim messages, then delete all the messages there in or alternatively move them to phone memory or the memory card....

Hello i have nokia e5 since 4 days
internet connect automatically after 10 through gprs and if gprs settings deleted if wifi connection availabme it connects with it all the application running is backgroud are stoped but still connects with wifi or gprs
please help

everythin... moreman ... to solve that problem where your app manager is telling you that there is not enough space ... it means that you have to copy the app directly on the phone or on the memory card and access it directly form your phone !that's how you solve it ... hope it helps... try it... and give a feedback

Me n my fiancee hv been using this phone from a few days back but found it user friendly as all nokia phones are normally. initially found a lil dfficlt as some options r hidden (like contact edition) but by the time its 10th day we are much more comfy n satisfied with this device. good job nokia
one small thing..
on the main screen bottom, there is a msg blinking icon which keeps blinking 24x7 but when there are new msgs it dsnt show as how many msgs unread (except when exit done from main screen)
any solution for this??

Its really good phone.I would say that it is best for qwerty mobile.But the problem is ovi store does not have many applications for this phone and it is expensive too.Where can i download apps for free ?

if you install softwares only from verified sources then no virus can touch your phone. s60v3 has got some strict security.

i've been using nokia e5 for almost 7 months now. its been good, seriously.
but just recently, i have been encountering so many problems.
1. the gallery won't show the captured images. i don't know why. but the photos are shown in "all photos" but not on "captured" and the albums and tags were all gone.
2. i have a file on my memory card that i cannot erase, no matter what i do. and when i sum up the files on my memory card, it is beyond 2gb. and the problem is on the images because of the file that i cannot erase.
3. after charging, the phone will be low-batt again. then i'll restart the phone and it's okei again.
4. i can't use the earphone's key to change tracks.

i suggest you to format your memory card .. i guess you are using your sd card for captured images.
sometimes it do happen.. try and then tell the result.
as for changing of music tracks .. it is not supported by the earphone provided with the phone.

it seems a hardware related problem ... i think your SPEAKER is faulty. if your phone is in warranty, then goto nokia care and get it repaired .. otherwise its your choice .. a local shop or nokia care, both are fine
