hey guys most of the time when i restart my E5 it goes into Offline mode and it also doesn't allow me to change into General profile and sometime it comes back to general mode on its own.
can any 1 help to solve dis...???

e72 camera is an auto-focus one and its is 5 MP as compared to e5 has full focus
e72 got a trans-reflective screen (better readability in sunlight)
e72 has got more metal on its body
e72 has got an optical track pad + accelerometer. e5 miss these cookies.
e72 got a front facing camera too for video call. e5 miss this too

DH, 21 Aug 2011I'm facing the same issues as well, even after setting the ... moreSms alerts work like normal phones do. For e-mail alerts, the Mail-box needs to be created. There are a lot of options for gprs connection such "Connect now/Connect always" U could also try choosing two mail-boxes as Primary and Secondary. There are options in the mail-box settings for that. Doing this will place notifications on the Home Screen, provided ur Standby Mode is set as Active or similar.

imam, 21 Aug 2011some of my friends brought it 4 months ago, but after some ... moreMine is working absolutely fine. Antivirus does make it a bit slow, but other than that, all apps are working fine as well. Gmail is well supported. All google apps work fine. Hotmail is easily synchronized with the messaging service.
This phone supports java, so .jad and .jar files should work. I have tried some .jar games. They are working great.
I do not like the music player, the sound is not satisfactory. The bass is really low. But it supports promised file formats well.
Of course, it's difficult to find apps for this phone. Because a lot of ovi products are shown as not available for E5. Yahoo mail can be downloaded but it needs a bit of manual synchronization probably. I don't use it btw.

[deleted post]Try using the Jaiku Wifi Hotspot app, available at Ovi store. The app comes bundled as a premium gift package with the phone. U can easily download it and try.
