when i connected to my PC using PC suit its showing your phone is on file transfer mode, change that mode and try again. Pls help to change the file transfer mode. How can I change this mode pls help.

becoz in my E5 by default it uses vodafone mob... moreThat is called A-GPS! When it is having trouble connecting to the satellite using the inbuilt GPS, then it seeks for help using the internet of ur phone. To prevent this, Menu>Maps>Options>Settings>Internet. Then set to 'Connection' to offline.
ALSO,
Menu>Cntrl Panel>Settings>General>Positioning>Positioning Methods. Now disable everything there EXCEPT Intergrated GPS.
(This is to make sure it NEVER connects to the internet) so from now on, it might take longer to find ur position on the map, BUT it will NEVER connect to the internet to do so. Undo what you have done to return to normal.

Ale, 12 Jul 2011I cannot copy my contacts from my sim card to the phone, th... moreMenu>Contacts>Option>Settings>Contacts to display. Then thick both Phone and SIM memories.then Ok. Default saving memory should be phone memory. (To display only SIM contacts, untick Phone memory). Now u can mark them and press Options then copy.then select the only option there which is phone memory.
