Let me make this clear! In everything in life, thr is an advantage and disadvantage. The E5 has 256 K while the E72 has 16 million colours. But they both have the same resolution (320 x 240).Meaning that the screen quality of both phones are the same! But the E5 screen is harder to see under sunlight while the E72 screen is easier. But when on highest brightness, dat is no problem at all (on the E5). Also, the 256K screen of E5 means that the batt3 will last longer while the 16M screen of E5 will drain your battery faster. And dat is why E5 beats E72 in battery Life.

Hi, Ive just bought this phone and its awesome. My single problem is the following : I connect it to a wifi system (search wlan>start web browsing>etc.), it works fine, but when I exit the browser, it stops the wifi. Can I make it somehow to stay connected (w/o setting every wifi network I enter as an acces point?)? Also, without setting the an acces point, even when Im connected to the wifi, the "chat" wants to use the mobile data network. Is there a way to connect directly trough the wifi w/o setting it to defined acces point? Thx in advance.

Hey guys, can anybody tell how is the gps performance of E5. Is it accurate? Please reply soonly because I am planning to buy it in a couple of days. Thanks

1.for a camera of about 5MP the quality of the images as well as videos is really v.v poor,
2.no uploaded games in the phone ie default loaded games.
3.it does not view PDF file as stated in spec.
4.continously getting off automatically.
over all really a worst phone of nokia

today i complete 70 days with nokia e5 and want to share something with all of you.
6 months ago i was very much confused on deciding a phone(priority 5mp cam),searched a lot on internet n short lised on some models but couldn't decide.one day when i reading gsmarena user opinion page about nokia e5 i noticed stanley's coment and find it very impressive.i started to follow his post regular.finally i bought e5,from that day i started to download mp3s,videos,movies,games etc. Without installing any antivirus but my e5 is ok(thank god)every file playing smoothly.i don't update its software till now but the phone is very fast.music quality average,loud enough.music lovers should buy good stereo headset for this phone.for image capturing i prefer in low light-night mode,in dark-flash with red eye reduction,outside-landscape and indoor-user defined(which you can edit and saved as you like).image and video quality is also average(remember it is a business phone,around 10k.you get lots more than you thought).no hang or restart problem(my previous 5 phones hangs,restarting when just listening music).i was not a heavy internet user but now i am and the credit goes to e5.it is really fast on my 2G sim.i love my e5 very much.
Thank you stanley for your guidance.you are very honest,really a nice person.you are like a celebrity in this space.but we miss you now a days.

AnonD-853, 30 May 2011Yes. I am sure to saY that there is no video calling possib... moreu can do video call by 1-turn yr phone,facing the camera(this way,y=u cant see yr friend's face.)
2-face yr phone camera to the mirror(but u need to look for perfect angle)

there are plenty of excellent camera phones available in the market...but you will never find a good value for money phone than e5 anywhere.

if your having a problem of this phone regarding with factory defect you ca return it to the store to have a replacement for it have a warranty...

e5 has highest ram 256 and processor arm11 600mhz among all nokia sets available and os iss60v3 pack2 price 10000 ------------ i tnink reason enough to buy
