Can anyone please tell me how to configure Light Control App in E5.. Because it seems like a mess to me.. Under the direct sun light my phones display goes off in less than 2 seconds.. But in indoor it was awesome.. Sometimes when watching a video clip, display light goes little off... Can this be controlled under display settings or must deal with the light controller app???
Please help me..

i've notice that if i use the led flash the picture is litt'l bit blurred... but then if i don't use the led flash the picture is very clear.

I have ... moreyes i am using E5 for 3 months,it is never difficult to see contents of the phone under sunlight when the light sensor is working or if the display brightness is set to maximum. But sometimes i see that light sensor works after few seconds when the phone comes under sunlight,between that time its hard to see the disay,if the brightness is set to minimum.

Regarding the issue of poor visibility of E5 directly under the sun, much of that is internet based crap. Obviously nobody is forced to use E5 directly under the sun, one can always tilt the phone a bit. However, light sensor on E5 reduces the brightness under the glare of the Sun. But if anyone is hell bent of using E5 under the full glare of Sun then there is an application available which can bypass the light sensor and allows you to set up the brigtness levels as per your requirements. Hope this helps.

u can also update software through OVI suite.

Does this phone have devanagari font support with
proper rendering of characters? Phone seems
perfect for me looking at other specifications. But I
dont want to loose Hindi / Marathi script for them.

I had the same problem a few days ago, and it happened after I cleaned my phone with a fluid. It went through the audio jag and made the problem. I removed the battery and tried to dry my phone. I was fast enough to rescue my E5!

Nrathi, 03 May 2011@paresh According to other user there is not much differen... morethis guy paresh have not used this E5,so he is telling that 256k display is not sufficient,actually in real its not possible to distinguish between 16m and 256k display with bare eye. Also 256k display consumes less battery.

According to other user there is not much difference(except in sunlight) between E5,E72 colour display then why you are telling its very bad not to have atleast 16m colour display in a business phone??
Please please explain if any user has clear idea about this specification,thanx in advance.
Please reply if any user of E5 faced any problem releated to 256k colour display.

After listening music when I remove my handsfree, my phone still remains on the handsfree mode. I can see the handsfree option. To remove it, I need to switch off & switch on my phone. Can anyone help me with this???
