imi, 14 Feb 2011I have been using E5 for 2-3 months and have a strange prob... moreYou might be using a timed profile, go to menu>control panel>profiles>create new. Then activate the created profile. Or simply, from home screen press the red button briefly then select general profile. If dis dosn't help, connect ur phone to ur pc, using ovi suite, check for latest update and update phone software, if no update, u have an option to re-install the current software. NOTE: Backup ur phone using ovi suite before ur update. Hope this helps.

How many green bars do you get on ur Satellite status indicator on the bottom right of ur Map?! Try this, go to Software updater in Control panel and check for software update, u might see an update for maps. Or connect ur E5 to ur pc, then go to maps and download the one for ur country it'll wipe the existing one and replace with an updated version. Hope dis helps.

Can you please tell me if 3rd party applications can a... moreOf course!!! 3rd party apps can access the wifi, totally! I use shazam,opera mini,2go,symtorrent,ebuddy,ucweb,snaptu,nimbuzz,bolt,fring and more with WLAN, even when my SIM is not inserted, WLAN can still be used. Hope this helps?

AnonD-374, 14 Feb 2011back up all that u feel is important remove memory card r... morewhen i check for update from device manager it says no software update available.. but when i check from SW update it says 'phone software important" when i click on update via pc ( already downloaded nokia updater) it doesnt work i stayed connected via my broadband plz advice my present version is 042.010

ok guys been using for abt 3 weeks before buying was very sceptical abt hanging issues,,,, but so far so good..... m satisfied nice phone.. lets hope it stays that way.... of course got few issues like cant download flash player which stops me from viewing many media files.. wonder if there is any solution to that... also i had a query that when we connect internet to laptop via data cable which mode should we prefer out of the 4 choices?? i usually go for first one i.e. pc suite.... by the way the data cable is very very short

I'm using e5 right now and so far I can't find any issues with it. It's made from Korea and its working good and properly. Don't buy china made nokia because it's not worthy.

Can anyone try this, cover the camera with your hand and then check the display, do you see any red/green colored pixels, is this normal, thanks
