i just bought it and i think its a really good phone! by far the best phone ive ever owned. of course it has its small fall backs, such as the no auto focus problem and its little outdated software. and sometimes its a little slow when it comes to opening an app or web page. this phone has a weather forecast app, which i think its really good. :) and loads of other stuff.

Honestly, I wonder why people post so many negative comments about this phone. Personally, I have been using mine for close to 2 months and I must confess this is one superb piece from Nokia after my 5800. It's a cool device which delivers all you need in a business phone.
For those who are keen on getting a perfect camera phone, the E5 renders some nice quality though it might not be the best in this regard. Besides, what do you need a fantastic camera for if all you desire is a good business phone. I'd say don't hesitate any longer. Just go for the Nokia E5.

This is one of the excellent business phones produced by Nokia, having all features of E72 (except some ie navi sensor) in lower cost. Camera quality is very nice, but sometimes due to its flash the picture get blurred. By the way, without flash or flash in a very dark place its camera quality is very good. It has excellent stand-by time, sound quality and in-built internal memory. But it does not have any in-built game and you cant off the camera capturing sound.

some weeks ago, i was asking these same questions, should i or should i not buy thid e5, now here's d truth!
if ur phone stops working after 3 days, 1 week, 1 month. It means u did something wrong. (phone's dont have time bombs) Somepeople just dont listen, 'dont use d facebook application on the web it
has a bad update for now'. Of course i saw d update and i ran away.
there were many other rules, such as: if possible dont update ur phone from anywhere, there are bad updates every where.
there were also suggestions like, make sure u dont buy a china made e5.
every other thing is okay, just make sure u dont update anything for now. The e5, has a suberb qwerty keypad, and d design is really sleek (even the black). This phone is fast!!! The navigation is the bomb, the net surfing is CRAZY! The battery is the BOMB!!! The only bad thing is that, the camera sometimes looks like a true 5mp, and sometimes looks like a 3.2mp, cause its a fixed focus. (of course if the phone had everything, d phone wouldn't be this cheap would it? Pls those complaining should go get an N8 and stop complaining.
some people are also complaining about the screen and i dont know why? This screen is not a super screen, but its a very good screen...very good! Plus d phone is LOUD!!! And finally, dont forget to turn ur auto update off. Hope this helps!

I bought the phone yesterday and it was working fine until this morning. Its dead and I am unable to restart it. There is a lot of discussion over several forums that this problems is faced by most of the users. All of them are disappointing and had to send the set for replacement within a week of purchase. I am totally disappointed with nokia :( I suggest everyone to do proper research on it before buying.

i have purchased this phone in october,i have lots of problems with it,the camera tho is a 5mp is'nt good,its as good as a 3.2mp.it hangs and switched off on its own twice and won't turn on again,i had to give it to nokia service center twice,am thinking of replacing it with E 72,but am not so sure about it either does'nt want a phone that hangs anymore.Lots of software problems with the phone.The looks is what i got this phone for but now i absolutely hates it.
