Well, let me give u my opinion on the e5. Been using it for a week now and i have no regrets buying this set. Its got everything a business phone should have and is truly a phone with the best of the features from the e series. Well as many people pointed out bad visibility in sunlight, i dont think its true at all, its perfect outdoors, i use the carbon black theme, the camera is pretty decent bt not gr8. The zoom works with the volume keys, the phone is fast, charges through usb, pushmail is hassling to set up, especially on slower connections (i use edge). The browser is decent, plays youtube video directly in the webpage. The contacts bar on homescreen is impressive. Gps navigation is free, works well. I particularly like the panorama feature of the cam. Battery life is reasonable. Qwerty keypad isnt as gud as e63. Solid feel. Slim. No preinstalled games. Speaker is loud with high treble, cant do anything abt it. Overall a gud phone. Wlan. Screen is gud, nice smileys in msgs. Ovi store to download all u want, nokia chat supports yahoo, ovi, hotmail n gtalk. Power saving mode. And lots more.
If u think u like this phone, buy it without second thoughts, its better than a blackberry.

I have used like 16 or so phones till date!! From Samsung to Nokia to Motorola to Blackberry to HTC to Asus !! You name it, and there is a probability that I have used it.. be it Communicator, or touch screen, or flip up, or flap or simple Bar style.. Thankfully, I have found one phone which has latest features (as of 2010) and I dont need to keep a separate Blackberry for my Emails and Internet On-The-Go!!
Nokia E5 does it all..
The only thing *missing* in this device is an *Awesome camera*.. Thats all.. But if one can do with a normal camera and a super cool phone, go for Nokia E5.. It is currently the best deal..
I also went out to buy out of E71, E72 or E5.. and this one stood out.
The Display is not as good as E71 or E72, but it IS NOT bad at all.. !!
it is a GOOD RESOLUTION SCREEN.. and all those who have written that under sunlight, the display is screen is hard to read- They are all talking without using this phone to its maximum utility..
Set the theme to a darker shade and it is one helluva device..
When i was reading people's reviews before buying my E5, i was a little disappointed about the camera, screen resolution and plastic body comments by people who just use it for trial, to write reviews..
Guys, the camera is fair, if not very good,
The screen resolution is Good, and not at all bad under sunlight, and
the plastic body is a plus.. E71 and E72 have problems with their Maps and GPS bcoz of their metal bodies.. thats the reason Nokia has come out with a plastic body phone..
Just use it for 2-3 days for navigation and compare with E71 and E72.. you will find E5 better..
Plus points:
* Awesome battery life. Use it and use it.. its battery just doesnt die..
* USB Charging- just introduced by Nokia.. so one does not need to carry the charger along..
* GPS and Navigation especially the Voice Based Navi- simply too good..
* The Speed is awesome. The RAM is more than E71 and E72 both. The messaging and Emails etc. are far better than other ones..
* The QWERTY Keypad is very easy to use..
To be honest, i was more keen on buying E71, but went for this one and I am Glad i chose it over E71.
Well, it definitely has the same features as E72, but E5 is definitely IS FAR BETTER than E71..

hey guys i bought this cell today..n its awe sum phone wid great features..good for bluishness people..only camera is disappointing..music is satisfying...worth for the money...

Hai frnds dis is my 7th Nokia Mobile specially in E series dis is 4th.. dis is only business Phone dts it.. if u need for any other (like camera,music,web,are any other)u r only on basic frankly Nokia E5 amazing for only business people for editing Office files, Adobe Reader can't useful social networks also 50/50 satisfy

If you find email setting up on E5 to be so easy, can you suggest us the easy way out?
I am a die hard Nokia fan, this is my 5th Nokia phone, but have been disappointed with the difficulty of setting up an email - so complex. Nokia phones are sturdy and are supposed to be easy to operate.
I also have a blackberry and my wife has an iphone - where the email settings were so simple that it took less than 10 minutes to set up 5 email accounts. You just had to input the email id and the password. No such ease with Nokia!!! I did try setting up other email accounts through the cumbersome process of going through the Nokia site - but am still to get even one working. Shall try out your advise/ visit a service centre for help.

i bought this mobile this diwali... it really rocks.... those who are facing problem like getting some cludiness while taking pics with flash... take off the cover.. its awesome..i love this.. good phone with lot features

I bought Nokia - E5 on this diwali and i tell u.. it has amazing features and a perfect business phone.... i have already used blackberry... but i found this is better... If its business...u should go for this.... Happy Diwali and be happy with E5
