hi,
i just used my nokia E5 for a week, one day while i was using the Facebook apps there is a message pop out saying that "new upgrade available". I kept ignoring it for a few times until it became irritated SO i press the continue button to upgrade it. after a 20 minutes waits, it finish upgrading then it went to the main screen again. until i wish to open the Facebook apps again, it shows and error saying "file corrupted"..even after restarting the phone i still get the same thing. I notice to that i can't use my phone-book normally because it shows the same error as in fb application!!! (are in E5 phone-book and fb application connected?)
is there anyone with the same problem or someone who can help me out or gimme some suggestion? I've already formated my phone and the problem is still there.

hey guys,i hav a new e5 with me......can anyone tell me how do u zoom in or zoom out photos......i hav tried everything but all in vain.....even the user manual dosent give a hint bout it......plzz help anyone..

[deleted post]e5 is far better than 5630 !! 5630 is alldo gud but e5 has much better features den dat of 5630.

You need to go to Nokia email site, register yo... moreShankar this is a forum where people come for help ,,dont spoil there mind giving false statment when you dont know about mobile mailing i have configure 10 mails including exchange ,,guys if you have any kind of problems you can ask to Nokia priorty promoters if they cant heandly u r queries they will forward a good technical to your home to clear doubt even i surprise to hear this first time its true Nokia guy come to home to rectify technical problems

Guys, please help me about battery life comparison on E72 vs E5. E72 uses 1500 mAH and E5 uses 1200 mAH batteries respectively. But nokia claims E5 will give 18 hrs talk time and E72 gives 12 hrs talk time. Is it true? please clarify.thanks.

You need to go to Nokia email site, register your specific email id on that site, then you get a link sms to you. Follow the link to setup that particular email. It got installed in my case for one email but it does not work at all - no mails sending, etc.
The Nokia care centre guy told me this - further he also kept repeating of red coloured @ sign in the mobile which I have not been able to find in my mobile till date.

in which country is ur phone made? Hungary or Korea? My battery backup is terrible. I dont do that much at all 1 and half hours of calls per day and about 30 msges max and one active email. battery lasts only 1 and half days max. I even charged properly as they said. may be something wrong with the battery.

Nokia e5 is the best ever set in the symbian format released till date :). I am using it since 2 months now and have not found any miss management in it... so enjoy if you wana buy this beauty

I bought my E5 from mobile store here in Chennai, had charged the battery full, then with high usage like, 2-3hrs calls a day, 1hr browsing, watching videos, listening to music, captured a 1min video,captures 30pictures, used wifi most of the time, installed 5apps, used bluetooth for file transfers(atleast 25)...
with all this i got a battery backup for two and a half days.
