When i'm trying to use GPS and locate 'My Position',... moreit requires internet... but if you download & install maps of India (its 172 mb) from ovi software suite... then u need not be connected to internet. however you will only get the info which is in the 172 mb files. any updation/improvement would not be reflected. The 172 mb file is whole India so any where in India.. you can use GPS. Even if you plan to go outside India, just download the country map you are visiting ... it will work fine without the ULTRA EXPENSIVE INTERNET while traveling abroad on roaming !

Hi...
When i'm trying to use GPS and locate 'My Position',
GPS is unable to trace my position.
I created a account in Ovi and tried signing in using the same, but still the problem exists...
Can anyone help me .... and does this require an internet connection for GPS maps, as it is said that navigation comes for life time free with Nokia E5 ??

noel, 21 Oct 2010it could be a duplicate entry (saved on a different name). ... morethere is no duplicate entry. I have already taken care of all these minor things but still no name display when a sms arrives. Any other user of E5 facing the same problem???
