This phone may be a near competitor to that of the E72 but it is certainly not any better than it.
For example, take a look at the build quality, e72 has autofocus, 4gb mem card included, 512 ram, higher screen resolution,ambient light sensor, secondary camera are all cut off in the E5.
I wud say, for its price range, the E5 does a well spec sheet bt nothing compared to the e72.

I've tried one at the Nokia Center at The Spring, Kuching and I found out that this nokia is really cool, I've just ordered one through the internet and it should be here within one week.

The only reason why this phone seems "faster" is because it has more RAM (256 MB) than the E72 (128 MB). So for you non-techie people out there didn't even bother comparing the specifications of both phones in this website, you might want to check it out for yourself.
I don't understand why people keep on comparing this to previous E-series models anyway. Just because this is a later model, it doesn't mean it's any better. First of all, the screen display is a lot lower at 256k. The camera, despite the fact that it's a 5-megapixel, isn't any better either because it's FIXED FOCUS. The external appearance is different, the battery type and life is different (lasts longer supposedly, but that depends on how you use it), and so's the memory card capacity, which has increased to 32GB. To sum it all up, it's just another phone out in the market with a new model number that was created to target a certain age/income bracket. Period! Now unless you were able to use this phone to make a miracle happen, stop bragging about it. I have both this phone and the E72 right now and mind you, I don't see what's the big deal on this one.

Hallo bargain_lover.
I read the same thing on 2 different reviews, yet this review on this website states that it won't disappoint in the sun.
I tend to believe the 2 other reviews. Both say that the phone is missing the transflective display of the E63 and other Nokia models and that it is a total disappointment in the sun.
