Nokia released this as a business mobile.
Had a look at the Nokia priority center. Very disappointed:(
*First of all the screen size is very small, big time disadvantage. People buy this e-series mainly for browsing(internet)purpose and its very pathetic to browse in this.
*Secondly, yes I checked it out, can't take out close up shots.Capturing text(documents) aint possible at all. Image is blurred guys, coz no auto focus.
*Next there's no secondary camera. In modern, fast growing, advancing technologies, how can nokia miss out secondary camera?? Bull shit.Sheer fault by Nokia by releasing this as a business mobile and no embedded video calling camera.
Nokia just losing its customers.Thinking to switch to samsung now,....
What say mates????????

Without the 2nd camera, it is not convenient for 3G. u cant see ur caller's video as 2nd camera is not available.
Camera is without autofocus, close-up picture is blurry.
Regretted buying this model. :(

The phone Nokia E5 is good, but the screen is too small. Nokia E61 and E61i have one good screen and keyboard. Today everybody use the internet on mobile. It is very hard with one small screen and with small keyboard.

essentially, a phone with autofocus = a handy photocopier
I don't mind its low quality screen and omitting of 2nd camera...but without autofocus, one is missing out a huge part of productivity and convenience

Previous nokia phones with the same amount of RAM suffered freezing, lag and automatic restart. Unlike nokia e5, you can enjoy 256 mb of RAM which means that you are unlikely to run out memory. You can open many applications as you want at the same time and surf the memory hungry websites on the internet. Don't worry with the secondary camera, video calling is too expensive as of this days. About the 256k color display? Don't worry, you can still enjoy vibrant colors like what you see in 16million color displays.

Compare e5 and e72, E5 have been downgraded screen that has 256k color with 18 bit color depth thats becums low qulaity screen that are used in nokia 2700c like phones but good is that it got 256 mb ram for multi tasking but u might dont like the phone good features on cheap screen. And yes e72 has auto focus camera and front camera for camera as well as video call. I think E72 still take a head it self in term of over all value. Go for E72 for good value to ur money or if you want a phone decent features and u dont worry about low quality screen go for E5.

[deleted post]Its available everywhere, but only through NOKIA DEALERS as of now. Nokia sells the newly launched products for some initial days thorugh its dealerships only & takes the advantage of high price.
Wait for dussera/diwali, by then it will be available in other stores as well & price will also come down considerably.
