disappointing.. E series that i know more like elite phone at least give some prestige to its user..
in E series always using 16M color but this phone just using 256k..
using 600Mhz & 256MB RAM surely make this phone fast but its design rather ugly for me.. i hope this opinion only for me..
where is 2nd camera for video call? all E series have it..
i'm impressed with battery performance but it doesnt make such a big differences..
so i think i will go for C6 except gsm arena can review other possibilities of this phone true performance..

Maxi, 06 Jun 2010if nokia made E5 with its own application of social network... morewrong.. if nokia make E5 with better design than like this... i bet gemini sale will drop.. coz compare to BB, when user dont use BBM.. nokia E5 spec > BB gemini although at the same price..
even nokia only give 256k color, still better than BB's 65k color.. service, UI, feature, performance.. all of it better than BB gemini..
but why voting result only at 6.x not like BB gemini's rating 8.x?? the only problem is E5 design too ugly, so make everyone embarassing perhaps..
E5 with E63/E72 design even with just plastic will do better i think rather than use half plastic and half metal like this just because E series often use metal as basic material design... ckckckck.. nokia seems like to market this kind of phone but not too user friendly..

if nokia made E5 with its own application of social networking it would be good.. not just a laucher app. (fingers crossed) hope this will be a great smartphone!

is this phone really worth to buy? since metallic part on middle makes its design ugly and cruel..
dispite that other feature perfect and fit my taste.. fast, cheap, responsive UI and looks like BB without trackpad..

Now, nokia is following their old practice, they are delaying this phone b'coz they think it will eat up the sales of E63/E71/E72.
by the time they release it all the hype would be lost, and hardly anybody will be interested in this model.
(The same thing which happened with Xm5530, they delayed it to push the sales of 5800 and when launched, it flopped badly)

Very very bad product of Nokia.... Very bad i can tel by various angles... lot of bad marks were been collected nokia by releasing this model,,,, every things they come to know only after passing few months only, coz model released only April 2010

Nokia need to give us AT LEAST 1GB internal memory PLUS free-SDHC slot for devices like E50, E51, E52, E61, E63, E70, E71, 5800, etc... and AT LEAST 2GB internal memory plus free-SDHC slot for devices like N80, N81, N82, N85, E70, E71, E72.
without those internal memory, once you have too many MMS/email/sms and photo, your phone will got cranky.

I Think it is a bad point for Nokia, it is simple mobile, there are many phones better that this one, they only try to get more customer by this phone cuz it looks like blackberry.

Just so everybody understands: this is basically just an E63 with 3G bands for T-Mobile in the US. I dont't understand why they decided to put it in the E7x series rather than E6x - just for the prestige I assume. That may very well have been a T-Mo marketing decision. The problem with S60 is that when the on-board memory gets close to full, it starts to make the OS buggy. My E70 gets cranky, and I have to clear out text messages about every 6 months. If you want to do alot of picture taking and listening to music, use a memory card.

[deleted post]The launch date of E5 was today but it has been postponed 2 weeks due to the cyclone Phet in gujarat region. This is because the handset is being manufactured in gujarat near tata nano plant.
If it is launched today then all handsets will become wet.
