A phone with metal accents, full querty, metal accents, an operating system and especially, cheaply priced. This is definitely going to be nokia's next bestseller (on the non-touchscreen side)

dear all, it may affordable than E72 but its colors are 256, no front camera, plastic body and it is update device of E63 not E72.

I think a lot of difference between E72 & E5. Price difference also a lot. Nokia have to cover also production cost. so it is not enough bad phone in price. I am using E72. So friends have to watch about price also. Nokia have to compite with other brand also like samsung corby pro or other brands model

Was considering buying Samsung Corby Pro or E63
After seeing this I have postponed my plans, hopefully they will release this soon.
Another Dilemma is to whether buy this or C6.
We are spoilt for choice now!

Dude, how dare you say E72 has poor build quality, it's probably the best built phone in the whole phone industry, metal front, stainless steel back, sturdy buttons, very tight construction. Very much a beautiful piece of engineering.
My wife has one and I'll be getting one as well but my N95 refuses to die!
E5 is a more affordable version of E71 and E72, it's probably the same phone, it even has the flashlight option on the space key just as the big brother. The only difference is MIC instead of MIF and more plastic instead of metal finish on the E72.

Still only 320x240 res screen? when are Nokia going to make a business phone with a screen comparable to Blackberry Bold 9700 (480x360)? Screen resolution is very important on a business phone - emails, webpages etc. are easier to read and less time wasted scrolling around.

Nokia E5 is almost the same as the E72. Can't comment on the build quality but seeying as the E72's is crap I don't really care.

im not necessarily talkin abt the specs but more abt the design... nokia's recent phones are copycats to other phones made by other phone companies. this one ressembles to a blackberry at first glance but at the same time conserves some nokia caracteristics.

nokia just try to clear they old hardware stock to mid range user. lol.... i am sure if most of their old hardware are clear they will use track ball ....
