Nokia is living in fools heaven, there are amazing sets in the market and Nokia is trying to fool with this old school symbian OS and fixed focus 15fps camera fone that hangs up all the time, doesnt charge often and camera wont start. If dont believe search online and u will find.

Altogether this is a nice phone. It has got all those essential features required for business and entertainment. That too at an affordable price. Negatives- camera performance is average. It don't have a TV OUT too. But remember it is a business tool. The new software update is very stable . If you are not a qwerty or touch screen fan and your budget is around 12K then go for it. I have one question: I saw in the manual that there is a flash player in the phone but i could not find it in the phone. I also want to know how fonts can be installed in this devise? If any body can help me on these 2 issues, thanks in advance.

I have a question for E52:
When I remove the battery and replace it again and switch on the phone, it's not remember the date and the time, so I have to enter it again. It is not happening to other E52 I have seen.
Can you help me?

u go to messages - options - settings - others
select "memory in use " as memory card
then u will be able to save all ur data directly to memory card frm bluetooth
let me knw if any problem persists

This must be the crapiest phone I ever owned speaker started messing around after 1 month Battery need to be replaced after 8 months and now phone wont turn on at all . piece of crap rather gat a BB or SE even LG would be Better.

This update greatly improves messaging app, the app doesn't seems to be sluggish after the update and doesn't freeze that much.
You must remember that messaging is a very demanding app, in most Samsung phones you cannot do anything else (i.e. minimize the messaging app and do other stuff) while sending messages (no. of messages at the same time).
Sync your messages to your PC then delete them from your phone. Keep the message storage memory as memory card. "PUT OFF" the delivery reports (very essential). You can store practically unlimited messages on your phone (you can allocate 16gb of memory card storage) but I would suggest not to go beyond 2000-2500 messages in your Inbox. Do sync messages to PC regularly then delete them if they exceed to much.

Also:
Use opera 10 or higher to browse the YouTube site.
Opera opens the flash videos in RealPlayer you have such an option in Default Nokia browser to.
As for the setting goes
Go to:
RealPlayer->Options->Settings->Streaming->Network->Default access point: Then select the preffered web configuration setting.
HOPE THAT WILL DO THE JOB..

Excellent phone. Something Nokia should be making more of! There are very few of similar phones. Good keypad as well!

Hey all.. I wish to buy this set. spec wise it looks awesome. I have gone thru a lot of opinions posted here and would just like to ask u guys one thing:
-> all guys who say this is exceptional and no problem at all, please post your phone's firmware version and the price for which you bought it.
eg: Good F/w: xx.yy
-> all guys who say this is bad and lot of problems, also post your phone's firmware version and the price for which you bought it.
Bad F/w: xx.yy
may be by this we may get to know wat firmware versions are actually causing problems and which versions are running fine.

totally blockage durring sms "reading" (when it reads outloud for you):needs battery removal to reset.
the email end calendar buttons are too close to the navy (often accidentaly pushed)
other than that, smooth

i m plannin to buy a second-hand E52 or E71. 5... moreGreeting Arpit Patel, the battery time of the E52 is actually very good. I average 60-minute call and at least 2-hours web-browsing via WiFi a day. The charge holds for 3 to 4 days. The battery of the E52 is the same as the E72 (bigger display).
However, the above being said, and the fact that you are considering getting a "second hand" cellphone, you need to understand that LIFE SPAN of "lithium-ion" batteries are dependent on time/age. Even if these are recharged properly, OLD lithium-ion will not hold a charge similar to a NEW one.

This does not mean your E52 has a problem. It also does not mean the YouTube application on your E52 has problem.
Can you surf the Internet on your E52? Do you use WiFi or the GSM (WAP)/3G service of your SIM card? Not all GSM services can connect to YouTube as data transfer is huge. Try using WiFI to connect to the Internet and see what happens.
