My phone still hangs, unfortunately. This happens when I'm composing a short message using T(. It's just annoying.

if u update ur sofware thru phone's software updater, u will be done by nt loosing any thing. U will loose contacts only when u refresh ur phone by dialing *#7370#. And wht about ur hang problem now?

Hey folks,
I tried updating my software just using the phone, by dialling *#0000# (as found on Nokia's website). The software was successfully updated, according to the message I got but I was wondrin' why I didn't lose my contacts or stored in the phone memmory. The settings of my phone didn't even get reset. Has anyone had the same experience?

@keypee - signal is fine here in manila if you are using Globe. For other providers, i do not know. Great phone. Hangs sometimes when i browse my image gallery too fast, hope nokia care can fix it.

Have you guys tried updating your phones software using the "Software Update" icon on your phone? I tried doing it but it didn't word. I just got a "Processing" note but it went back to the list of softwares available.

Rob, 02 Aug 2010I had been very satisfied with my E52 until it started hang... moreI was also facing the same problem and had to give mine to nokia care. I got it back after two days. Now it didnt hang and working fine. 15 days have passed. U should also visit the nokia care.

I had been very satisfied with my E52 until it started hanging. Now, it would hang quite frequently. I'm wondrin' whether updating the software to 34 would solve the problem. Has anyone tried?

i gave my phone to nokia care to get rid of excessive hanging problem and after 2days i got it back. Its working fine now. Unfortunately, i forgot to tell them about disconnection on regular intervals when connected to pc. Its really irretating. Otherwise my device has become almost error free. Great phone. Editing feature is helping me a lot. What about the formatting of ur phone?

hi, i want to buy this phone, but i need to know the signal strength of this phone in the Philippines? i have read some comments that the signal is dropping specially when you are inside the room or in close area... is this really the problem of this phone? or it depends on the network that we are using? anyone there have tried to used this phone in the phillipines and is it true that the signal is dropping in close areas or inside the room? please help... to those pilipino users please tell the signal condition of this phone... i really like this phone... you're answers will be highly appreciated... thanks in advance...
