    Mine is Korean made Golden, never heard Finnish in Korea, west meets east or maybe hoax by company to avoid Chinese made. Upgrade to E51thats all! Speaker of all E series low & flat, maybe Finland has car horns low and stupid influence their cells.

The only part of this phone which is metal is the battery cover and that is very flimsy - the rest is plastic, and not terribly good plastic at that. The construction rather reminds me of my old Nokia 6300 which was a nice phone to use (it had better button feel than the E52) but who's plastic centre-frame decided to disintegrate just after the guarantee expired

                I compared the E52 with my colleague's E72 and that other phone is a world away in terms of build quality - very solid and with a good button feel, pretty much like on the E51. I really don't know why Nokia too so little interest in this model - I guess there's a former Nokia product-manager now looking for alternative employment

                My recommendation remains not to buy the E52

                    I want to share my personal point ofveiw. since the relese of of e52 iam contineusly reading users opinions and experts reviews becuase i was planing to update my cell. bt last night when i visited my freind who is working in NOKIA CARE CENTRE he adviced me not to buy this phone becuse till now more than dozens of phones came to nokia care due to its mic and mother board problem.
                    MY freind said than e52 mother board is very thin jus like a VISITING CARD n too much sensetive,
                    Second thing is that there is more than hundreds of SECOND HAND e52 available in market in saudi arabia in price of jus 600 SAR which prove its low market values
                    I suggest to all my brothers if they want to purchase nokia E-series then go to
                    E71
                    E72

                    And in Nseries go to
                    n97 mini
                    n79
                    n95 8gb
                    5800 expres music

                          and for the other guy who have the front cover came off.. are you sure that's a genuine nokia phone?

                          btw, with the latest fw 034.001, garmin mobile xt finally able to perform stably like other apps.
                          i was able to turn on 3d map, and navigated back in a 2 hr+ route back from hometown.
                          it hangs previously in less than 5-10 min if 3D mode is enabled, that i had to set it to "track-up", and limit the zoom to

                              I'm really dissapointed in my purchase of this phone. It looks good and has nice functions. Mine is 2 months old and went in for repairs for the 2nd time today.

                              after 2 or 3 weeks the phone started rebooting itself when calling. It messed up the phone so bad that it wouldnt start up without hooking it up to my computer. I did all the updates but the problem continued. The problem only occured once about every 10 days so one month later I had had it and brought it in for repairs in an official repair center (a very good one though, never had a complaint about there services). When I got it back the phone rebooted again on the very first call i made after 8 minutes. I tried again and it rebooted 4 or 5 times during calls that same evening.
                              I had put the phone back in my car to bring it back in, the next day I tried it again and used its browser. The backlight of the screen fell out after 5 minutes of surfing and then it frose. I rebooted it and tried to browse to the same side, turned out the flash component on the phone was broken so I browsed to some other sites untill it crashed again after 12 minutes.

                              I haven't bothered anymore and just brought it in, hope I get a replacement phone which I will then probably sell.

                              Second BIG issue was the hardware. After one week the bottom of the front cover seemed to move and made some noise. After a while the home key didn't click well anymore. The biggest reason I brought the phone in for repair was that the whole front cover detached while I was trying to get it out of my pants to pick up...

                              If it wasn't for the problems I had with it I would be very satisfied. I call somewhere between 140 and 270hours each month and send a LOT of text messages. The phone has great call quality and the keyboard is easy to use.

                              A lot of business features could have been worked out much better. f.e I was only once able to sync my gmail via mail for exchange. I never succeeded in syncing my contacts or agenda...

                              Good thing the pc suite managed to take some great back ups of my data!

                                  I confirm that this phone is real crap!
                                  I experience tremendous problems with telephone calls. It happens to me all the time that the phone keeps restarting.
                                  Recently, after several self restarts it erased EVERYTHING from settings to contacts and calendar entries and returned to its original state. Thank God I had a backup (only one month old)!
                                  Additionally, I have serious problems with WiFi connections. After a while using the built-in browser or skype (for phone calls) it stacks and restarts!
                                  It also has a very bad T9, in fact the worse T9 I have ever experienced since the T9 has been invented (and I have used several devices).

                                  Honestly, the only good things about the phone is its battery combined with phone's power management (the best EVER on a mobile) and its speed for an S60 device.

                                  Yes it has plenty of features, but hey, this phone forgets to be a traditional, decent and honest phone.
