i have problem with ovi maps. everytime i go to application it automatically connect's to internet to determine my position at that moment. i want to know how can i turn off that auto connection to internet??

makedon, 05 Mar 2010to chat whit someone use nimbuzz it have skype facebook ms... moreyup! i used skype call by connecting to wifi in Dubai airport and worked just fine. so far im happy with E52 (i bought it 2 weeks ago). would suggest to download google maps, its satelite detail is better then ovi maps. im also satisfied with ovi maps. i tried the navigation in jakarta and was ok. love e52!!

I have a problem with my E52. Today (the battery was full) the phone switched off itself and I couldn't turn it on after some time say 3 hrs or 6 hrs whe i try to turn o i turs o i dot kow what is the prolem can any one tell me the resolution what can be done to rectify this

YES you can use Nokia PC Suite or even OVI to do it. However, in using PC Suite be sure to check off CONTACTS, TEXT MESSAGES, NOTES, CALENDAR ENTRIES but do ***NOT*** check USER SETTINGS as the s40 and s60 operating systems are completely different and transferring the s40 user settings 'may' result in conflicts which 'may' cause your E52 to hang or behave abnormal.

Hi, after using Nokia E52 for about 4 months I had no problem at all. At first it got auto restart before but after updated to latest firmware (v31.12), I had no problems at all. I already hacked mine and can enjoyed a lot of apps. My Nokia E52 is made in Korea. Hope this is a useful information to all people who are going to buy this phone :)

to chat whit someone use nimbuzz it have skype facebook msn yahoo and many more , ALSO HAVE FREE CALING WHEN U USE SKYPE. U CAN CALL SKYPE CONTACTS , i have tryed it and it works perfet on wi fi internet at home

I don't believe the people who say "Worst Phone Ever" and other negetive things about this phone...
Just look at the figures...
D: 8.5 , F: 8.5, P: 8.5 with more than 13000 votes ... with many negetive ones too...
My friend has one for the past 5 months and is thrilled about it. Of course he is not too much into tech like me but still calls and talks a lot ...
I know E52 is a great phone and packs a mean punch with so many exciting features.

E52 hangs at least once a day.i m not only the person who having this problem but my other 2 freinds also having same kind of problem.i even tried to upgrade software but still same problem and sometime battery doesn't charge so i have to restart my e52. DONT BUY E52

kicking~ass, 03 Mar 2010yes. it's Extreme bad phone. i use the e52 around 2-3 month... moreI got the same problem with the phone hanging at least once a day and the speed of the software functions are slower than my current E51. I used switch for E51 to E52 and it doesnt do a complete sync.

of cuz that's just personal usage preference, there's no right or wrong here. :D
