If your S40 phone has bluetooth then the answer is yes, you can easily export your contacts even sms, notes and calendar entries to your E52. Just use the SWITCH tool from the E52 to pull your data from the S40 phone. It worked like a charm for me when I used my E51 to pull data from my 6300.
When you get the E52 be sure to tell me if your mission worked perfectly or not.

It's nice to know that it have smart dialling but nothing beats having a dedicated contacts key button...which the E51 has. That's an edge the E51 has over the E52. I still plan to get the E52. My provider says they are working on stocking it so I should have it in my hands soon enough. I expect to get it unlocked and SIM free, the best way to go.

I have read som of the reviews on thia page and to be honest I can not reconise any of the bad reviews. I have only had this phone for 2 weeks, but so fare it has been the best phone I ever had. It simply just forfill my every needs of a mobile smart phoen to perfection. Everything can be manual setup for very easy and fast navigation. Call, sms, gps navigation, calender, and music player was my main focus areas when I bought the phone and it deals with all this tast to perfection. I had a LG Arena before and trust me never LG again, the worst quality and no user experience at all. Nokia works and the functionality and easy to use are top.

worst phone ever. it blocks, restarts by itself when starting the radio, not reliable at all.

nokia e52 is a very perfect cell wid a amazing batery time, very smart and attractive and a light weight cell.
its really a best product and comparing to other e series cell phones e52 is really very very perfect

my contact search directly from the homescreen works like a charm. so much so to a point i replace the right soft key from "contact" to the media player i use, for contacts access, just type the numeric pad to get quick access.

I have two options to choose from: The Nokia E52 on contract(R139 p.m x 24 months,including R100 free airtime p.m) and my second choice is the Nokia E63 on contract(R99 p.m x 24 months, including 100 minutes off-peak p.m)
I would like to know which choice is better, in terms of price, style, technology, software, quality and in general the better phone.

WK, 05 Jan 2010got my e52 black (with matted front silver linings) origina... moreyes. it's Extreme bad phone. i use the e52 around 2-3 months. the phone build really solid,i really like the design. but always hang, a lot of bug.. poor voice and sound, drop call, hang, auto-off..etc..a lot of problem that i just cant tell all of it here...service center said have to wait for new firmware update to solve the issue. i do the last update was 2 weeks ago over NSU, (Jan'2010 firmware if not mistake)...i not sure the latest firmware solve preview issue or not, but i find out that the CONTACT search not function sometime!!! i cant key-in to search my contact, i can only scroll down to search!!! WTF! i have to restart ""FEW TIMES"" than work for awhile and will hang again after few calls!! WTF!!! i trade in the phone at last and get other BRAND! no more nokia!
