To EVERYONE:
I phoned up my provider and made a recommendation for them to get the E52. They made note of my recommendation.
For the most part their customer relation is good because I made a recommendation for their website a while back and in no time my idea was added to the site.
Maybe they will get it November - December. As soon as they do you know I will let you, my GSM family know right away.

One more thing. I'm middle class just like yourself but what I normally do is to sell my current phone and then add a bit more money to purchase a new one.

Thank you for your acknowledgement and your big up to me.
Just a point to note though...The two things you mentioned in regards to signal and microphone having their problems, so be the case, you are right, they are hardware related problems and no firmware can change them. In that case the E52 will forever be the same where those problems are concerned.
Somehow I feel safer with my E51. Probably the best reception EVER of all Nokias and yes sometimes there are issues but these issues seem like nothing compared to what I have been hearing about E52.
My only fault with the E51 is that sometimes when there's an incoming call, pressing the answer key freezes up the phone and you see the caller's name still on the screen with the words 'calling' and all keys are inactive so the only option is to take out the battery or wait about 3 mins. or so when the phone auto restarts.
I don't recall this glitch happening before, UNTIL I upgraded to the lastest firmware 400.34.011. I hope this glitch will be ironed out with the next firmware release. All in all though I love my E51 and it's really a very powerful communicator and phone...as all the EDITORIAL REVIEWERS have said.

N79 or E52......Both are best, which phone is based on ur needy...
If u want 5mpix with dual LED flash, dual band 3G, more eye catchy with chrome outlined finish, Stereo speakers, latest firmware is really a matured one, N range features like N theatre, battery is robust which is nearest to E52 performance, Navi wheel for entertainment and works is most parts of the menu, FM transmiter for broadcasting FM, RAM ammout is low when compared it to E52 (both has 128mb inbuilt RAM, but after booting N79 applications are RAM suker one) future firmware took out dis problem, Carl zeiss optics with 20x digital Zoom but in E52 only 4x Zoom, 4gb card in box with 83mb storage, and lot to write.....
If u want aluminium body case, office document editor, tri-band 3G, 600mhz processor speed,
New V.8 s60 browser.
In my opinion if u r not a buisness ppl then go fop N range device..

Hi all E52 interests,
the E52 is a technical a superb device which has many features and also the software construction has developed in a good way if we compare it to the E51.
Now the interface supports more functions and also more Panels for WLAN and Applications which is allowing higher productivity.
If we take a look at the Hardware arent any negative sides to argue when we compare it with the volume of this device because its really slim.
The hardware components require less place of the volume but the the powerfull battery is the main weight character.
The build quality is made by aliminium and plastics which E51 users are critising most.
I want to convince that these fibre plastics are taking much better compared to metal parts.
Less weight, more flexible, complexive structured molecules like fibre plastic have much more resistant against crushes and are very durable and thts the reason why they are taking high priotity in the Air Space Jets.
Now Nokia created a firmware into the E52 which causes many Software and Hardware Problems.
The Reason is different firmwre versions which nokia has engineered once for the European market and the rest.The compatibilty wasnt like they have expected.
The devices are converting the firmware acts in fail.
Nokia had the same problem before 8 years with Nokia 6230i. You all can read byself this problem which Nokia had hidden.

Ry8 nw e52 is available in grey markets. Bt dnt dare to buy it from there bcoz nokia care wil nt touch ur fon in case of any probs.
Currenty, e52 fons are jst like pre launch stocks. Nokia mi8 hv nt started its mass production. And it has many software probs. Even sm of d uses r complaining abt hardware probs. If u r in a hurry, u cn go for other e series fons in case u like full querty or n79 if u lov normal keypad.

I decided nt to buy dis fon until its new firmware is released. Bcoz i m middle class person nd cn nt change fons very often.
It seems tht sm of d probs are hardware probs.
1) poor signal quality in gsm. As nokia has put bands on d lower side of d fon. So it generaly holds 1 or 2 bars less than other models.
2) poor microfon. During d call, opposite person cn nt hear u clearly until u hold ur fon very near to ur mouth.
Both of these are lukin like as if they r hardware probs nd nt firmware.
Anyway, u(oj), trf , jade nd sm other boarders doin gud work to analyse dis fon.

But it works on european models.

Hi all
I bought this phone 2 weeks ago and so far its meet my requirements.
However I still can't find how to "mark" few SMS which they usually have the shortcut to do so (ie. in e71 you can press arrow button and mark it with scroll button or in some candy bar nokia phone by pressing edit button and mark it with scroll button).
This feature is very useful for me to delete unwanted SMS and keep the others. Currently I use manual delete and it really bored me off.
Assuming e52 tech should be more advance compare with e71 and (my old) n70, this feature I believe is hide somewhere unless nokia take it out deliberately.
Is there anyone who knows would like to share me the tips?
