I am from Pakistan, my set is perfect no problems only keypad is abnormal,getting used to it,
antenna should be in upper part,for any eventuality.

THanks for reply..i tried to hold mobile in all possible way also tried handsfree but could not able to solve the problem..is it hardware issue..or should i wait for firmware update...i don't know in which country my mobile is made since this is my replaced handset and don't know how to check ...

Yes I have an e55. My problem was bad communication when I took lower side of phone..It is solved. But I am not glad. My e55 made in Finland. I don't know in which country made your phone. I'll change it with an e63 or e71.

hello all,
if u r considering to buy this phone, think ten times before u buy..the phone is having a hardware issue with mic. , i have replaced my e55 with e72, the best decision taken by me....i m from dubai...it's good that nokia has not launched this fone in india otherwise they would have to shut down their service centres in india coz of this fone. My indian freinds..don't wait for this fone..go for some other options.

i buy a e55 and when talk to the person on the other side after 2mins the person cannot hear me. if someone no how to slove this problem plz....... help

nokia e52 and e55 microphone problem..
I think there is no mic problem.. The problem is antenna.. Because antenna at lower side of cellphone. When you hold them from bottom side antenna does'nt work properly. You can see it on screen. This is a nokia's design fault. When you make a call please take the phone from upper side. You can see the probem solved..

I'm also using E55 it's easy for use & fast perfect size but.....
sometime have microphone problem.& system error!!
waiting for new firmware .....
I like E-Series......

i also have that problem with the phone i have to hang up then i call again and thats it...i am thinking to buy an 6700

@Mihai : i have same mic problem...i sent it to Uk repair centre...they replaced it with new handset... ..but in new handset same problem persist...called them to get detail description for what was the problem...couldn't get any reply.(they told me they will get me back in few days..).. don't know what to do....really get annoyed...please help me....rest of d things in mobile is perfect (at least for me...)

During a call the mic goes off or weak & so the caller on the other side cant hear you properly. I also upgrade its frimware but same issue. Does anyone knows how to solve the mic problem.
