I just received confirmation from Nokia's German Facebook profile, that Nokia does NOT intend to release this phone in Germany. Entschuldigung to everybody from Germany!

Even in India they took the phone of their website.. and most nokia showrooms have nevery even heard of it.
The Nokia E55 is a dream phone.. which looks like its going to stay that way.
Would be great if someone from Nokia would say something.

The cause for the delay can be some modifications made by Nokia to the phone.
example : the light sensor was in february on the right side of the phone. In some recent pictures I see that the sensor is on the left (as it's on E52)

It took almost a year until N97 made it up to the stores,expect a bit less for E55 though.

I don't think so beacuse in nokia.fr is possible to preorder the E55.I think it's a matter of days...i hope!

Can you believe that? If this would be some small cap company, then I could understand such mismanagement, but we're talking about Nokia!

e55 is available on nokia.fr for preorder. Can anyone tell what is the ETA they are publishing there. I do not know french so not sure if it is mentioned there at all.
