Ok Folks this is official. E55 will be realeased worldwide at the beginning of August not sooner or later. This info comes from Nokia Company directly.

The E72 is not only a E71 with a 5mp camera. It has a bunch of improvements. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, back ground noise cancellation, better keypad, latest Symbian interface, flash lite, better battery life and maybe a 600MHz processor. So its not only an E71 with 5mp camera. The form factor and the camera, will become the major deal breaker between the E55 and the E72.

Whats the point of waiting for the 5mp version of E71, and yet by that time they'll have announced a more superior phone. Just get yourself an E71 or just wait for the more unique E55.

I can be so patient waiting for this phone.. since i'm still collecting the fund (LOL)..
What makes it so interesting actually the 'weird 1/2 qwerty'.. and the good quality of it's predecessor E51. It has a fine RAM... I'll wait till June 30

Best thing is to wait for Nokia E72. It has a fully Qwerty keypad and 5 mega pixel camera. I was interested in this phone, but not anymore, after Nokia announced the E72, the successor of the much famed E71. E55 looks too cheap.. Definitely it has better features than the older E71. Bad timing by Nokia. Nokia could have released this, before they announced the E72.

Well this is unacceptable, waiting so long for this phone. I hope that people in nokia are aware that every day they are loosing their possible clients (Samsung and SE have some interesting models, and they do give us an information).....At this moment I have E65 and I'm very satisfied, however I was thinking to change it for E55...

It was announced 4 months ago, and not released yet!
We don't know when it will be released, or even if it will be or not, this is really too muck NOKIA!!

By not relesing E55 till date i think Nokia will lose a lot , already apple iphone has halved prices and imporoved tremendously the new models, this will deal a blow price wise and quality wise to nokia. look like e55 will have to be sold cheap.

But i think its total crap that Indians might not be comfortable using a half qwerty keypad. Do we look like retards who cant use a new type of keypad? Anyways nokia has pissed off a lot of ppl by not releasing this phone soon. According to me the biggest mistake that they can make is by releasing it only in some part of the world... All we can do is wait and watch, apart from flaming at that 16yr old kid!!! ;-)

Guys i talked to a nokia employee recently..and i got to knw something really bad from him..
He said ther are 99% fix chances tht Nokia is not gonna sell E55 in India due to recession they are facing presently and plus Nokia had a loss of 67% in the 1st quarter of d yr compared to last yr...And they are not sure if Indian ppl wud be comfortable with d half qwerty keyboard..!
E52 is gonna be launched for sure in the 3rd quarter..!
