Nokia E55

Yes it has an accelerometer (so if u turn on its side, screen will turn too). It also has a magnetometer (for smooth compass).
I'm also eagerly awaiting this phone. It has everything my E71 lacks (3.5mm jack, S60 FP2, 600mhz processor) and in turn the E55 misses only 1 thing -> the fully qwerty. But it's hybrid that's ok too.
I live in Benelux and it will not be released here, but I'm just waiting for a release somewhere else in the world that has compatible frequencies.
I'm just worried that because they are taking so long to release, that it will be exlusive to some tele-operator. Which means branded and locked and less favorable for import.

Does this phone have an accelorometer (screen roatation when the phone is turned on its side)? If not and I doubt it has, I will get the Nokia N79.

Many are skeptical about the half QWERTY keyboard..
I think what is required is an amount of training to learn to use it.
E52? is it the E63 of E71?
I would probably go for E55 rather than E52 even if it costs a few thousands less.
To me, non-QWERTY keyboard of E52 makes it look "ordinary"..
