Cos it's suppose... morei know it suppost to be a business phone but most people that like this type of phones regular people still buy theses phones and since its a business one and vibration is weak nokia have made a big mistake on the vibrations . im not i business person but i do like to have my phones on silent with the vibration on when im relaxing home and on the internet so if i get a call or txt just listen to the vibration not the sound while it quiet

    Cos it's supposed to be a business phone. Working people, we put the phone on silent, and on the vibrate mode. Cant have the phone ringing loudly in middle of a meeting or with customers. E6 has the weakest vibrate among all my Nokia phones

You need to adjust the ringing volume... morewell thanks for the infos when i get my one im gonna check all the things ive heard about issues and stuff the phones might have slight differenses due to the place the are made in. i dont get why people complane about vabration is it that weak that you cant feel it all? its not like your gonna use is to stick it up you you know what to get satesfied or anything else. when i receive mine ill see how the vibrtion is and then post my opinion on it

        theos1983, 03 Sep 2011oh yeah i did read that post earlier today. so now i get wh... more- Loud enough for me. You need to adjust the ringing volume, default is in the middle, make it louder.
        - If you must have notification light like some of the posters from Europe, you can get an app. from Ovi Store, "Remind Me" I think. Or wait for filmware update.
        - Vibrate, I bought a hard casing for it, it sorta solve the problem. Vibrate mode dont work when you on power saving.
        - Well, mine is 'out of europe' set & works fine. No wifi, 3G,2G, problems. Asia edition is all 'made in china', but cheaper..by about 100 Euros.

        Most important, test your phone before you bring it home from the shop

          AnonD-13986, 03 Sep 2011Hahaha, if you have read my previous posts, you will know. ... moreoh yeah i did read that post earlier today. so now i get why so many complates about wifi and restarting out of europe phone usually are not as good as europe phone made in finland from the main factory are the best nokia phones made from other factorys are not as the finland one and out of europe you can get ripped off with cheap look alike nokia phone that are not genuine thats maybe theses problems come up!!! does the phone sound loud when receiving a phone call? the reason i bought this phone is to have a phone and internet to check my emails every where i go and not wait until i get of work and get in at night to read my emails and use facebook and chats online to save money on calls using wifi connections

            theos1983, 03 Sep 2011to be honest ive ordered an e6 an waiting for it to arrive ... moreHahaha, if you have read my previous posts, you will know. Yes, been having the E6 for 2 months. Mine is Made in China,I'm from South East Asia. None of the 'scary' problems that some of them are having.

            It seems those having restart problems are from India, Bangladesh.
            1) You can read the previous pages on how to save battery life. Mine is 2 days on moderate use(4 to 5 hours websurfing per day), WITHOUT power saving.
            2) I dont use notification light all this while, so no problem. My one & only complaint abt the device is weak vibration, so I use the sound.
            3) Dont, dont, dont instal Kasperky or MObile security anti virus. If you still want F-secure, disable the firewall. I'm using Mobishield now, the lightest among the lot.
            4) Off WLAN, set email auto retrieval to 4, 12 hours or per day to stop the constant auto connect to internet. Dont use WhatsApp or others that can cause the device to keep auto connect
            4) E6's resolution is great for watching videos, another poster said he plays games on it. Keypad is well built, usual Nokia.

            Any other concerns? Dont worry too much, if you like it, just get it. If worry,any brand also will never buy, lol.

There are a few peop... moreto be honest ive ordered an e6 an waiting for it to arrive but i never read the issues people quote before i ordered it theses issues where not mentioned by anyone. do you have an e6? looking at nokia forums most that have theses problems are not form europe if im not mistaken. does it depend on where the phone is made in and the issues problems that come with them? the phone ive ordered is made in finland

                The common issues are about the weak vibrate, weak notification light, cannot turn WLAN totally off. If E72 owners- battery not as great as E71/72

                BTw, which issue are you facing??

                    Where did you read wifi is weak? I havent read anybody complain about that in Nokia support forums

                              Dears,

                              I am considering buying Nokia E6 butas I passed by several reviews, I read a lot of complains regarding the below :

                              1) Nill/extremely weak vibration ==> Is it really really that bad and is this problem found in all E6 mobiles ?

                              2) Very weak notification light for sms and missed calls while in Silent mode.

                              3) Some people reported weak Wifi connectivity.

                              Kindly I need a feedback from users who already aquired this mobile. Your feedback is much appreciated.

                                    The anti virus thing is what I have experienced,the sim card was a E7 user whose sim card got corrupted after upgrade to Anna.
                                    Oh yes, I forgot, a) ask them to change the battery.
                                    b) did they check the phone's antenna?
                                    c) Does your phone show "Sim card error" then restart?

                                    In some countries, F-secure comes pre-installed. Uninstall it if you can.
                                    Anyway, you should insist they replace with new set as other E6 owners dont face this problem

                                        Yes it is a great phone it is made in FINLAND,and yes you can have all that youtube,and all those app plus other doanloadeblw on ovi,I intend buying it soon to.
