to make it simple to everyone...
Battery life? It depends on how you use your phone... touch phone consumes more power compare to those normal phones.
if your more into apps, then please do not buy this one...
but if your on a business side. I can recommend this one...
for the speed? I am satisfied. since I only use this one for texting and calling...
This phone is very simple and elegant... Nothing to complaint...
In short... there is no such perfect phone...
Its up to you on how you choose your own mobile phone...
just be make sure, that choosing a phone could satisfy your needs :)

Please, I wonder if the keyboard of the Nokia E6-00 lights up when it is off and charging.
This is normal?

Nokia E6 is slow phone , previously I'm using E72 which is better then E6 , E6 is not only slow but hang many many times a day , I don't suggest to buy .. its missing label edit feature in contact and converter too and battery is not good , you have to charge everyday.

of course NOKIA is better than all other phones. hardware wise and battery they are the best.

For me,this is consider good.
1 more thing is the anti virus, is it running auto scan/live protection in the background?

I once tried to max the battery life and i got 200h (minimal use: some mails, sms, a few times web browsing fot not more than 15 min/day). But this phone is so fun to play with that it is difficult to not play with it, certainly now it is still new. If you don't need Bluethouth and WIFI constantly on than 3 to 4 days a certainly realistic, a week if you are not a demanding user.

I bought the Nokia E71 from Hong Kong, the Nokia E72 still from Hong Kong but the E6 i bought it from China (from Nokia store), probably there is a problem with the BP-4L battery (some batches) because those ones from E71 and E72 are better but still not enough.
Yes, the E6 is a real upgrade and it worth every penny, i am against the touch screens, i always been (the old school type) but i must admit that the E6 is a great phone, you cannot compare E71 with E6, i suggest everybody which has E71 or E72 to buy the E6.

rajesh, 19 Aug 2011set the wlan scanning off.I set the wlan scanning off from the very beginning. I also stopped (off) all the applications which tries to connect the internet for updates. I start to think that is my E6 battery problem (even if is new) because when i use the E71 or E72 batteries the standby time and talking time is better but still not ok. With the E71 i never worried to charge the phone, same for E72...Who knows..

It's funny how quite a few people complain about the E6 battery. Some batches of the E71 and E72 have battery issues while other E71 and E72 units give the specified talk/standby-time. I thought Nokia would have solved this power problem with all batches of the newly released E6.
In terms of functionality, do you consider it as a true upgrade to the E71? Because as you know the E71 has left the biggest footprint where the E-Series is concerned and according to Mobile-Review...the E71 is the best selling QWERTY phone ever. I have a E71 and love it.
