I had the E6 for 10 days now, I returned it to the dealer 2 times already. Battery life is a disaster, I unplug it from the charger at 9am with full charge, at 8pm it's dead. This is not acceptable for a smart Business phone. Plus this is not what Nokia announced for it.
On the other hand, the mail client has problems, the connection to IMAP servers is not ok, when you delete an email from your phone, it does not delete it from the server, so it keeps coming back. I never had this problem with my E71, although the same settings are on both phones, so its not a settings thing.
I waited so long for this phone, but I'm really disappointed. I will sell it and remain on the E71.

The E6 has a very weak blinking light to the notification light. In can see only in very dark places and allmost only from above.
This symbian is not ready yet. Nokia just rushed. mass production inpite quality production.
My preferated phone was nokia e6 with all his hardware but with nokia e72 software.

because of the screen resolution battery life will be different in both e72 and e6 thought they both r having the same battery pack.

There is some apps not running yet on E6 due to screen resolution.These apps can be rewritten to fit but some leave a black bar at top and bottom of screen.
Until i get hold of an E6 i cant test yet..Ovi store is a nightmare so most people sideload apps.Opera mini is supposed to be superb on it.

In my opinion Nokia has done an involution here with the music player custom eq. Because i`m using nokia e72 98% for music, and i know what is like to have a bad sound. I mean if you can`t do the equalizer how you like to hear it`s very dissapointing. And for that thing i think i will not buy this phone anymore. I`m really not that interesting about video player, or amazing 640x480 screen, or the camera. Again unfortunately nokia let me down with this rush. If any phone(samsung, sony ericsson,...) was better made at the design, certainly i would buy that phone. But i stuck with nokia only because the quality of construction and the noble design. But the symbian is a dead end soft. And the fusion with microsoft wil be also a dead end. Unfortunately nokia is very low ranking right now, thanks to that buggy symbian.

Aikon, 06 Jul 2011About E6 Does enybody entered to the music player- equaliz... moreAll s^3 devices have presets and bass boost/loudness setting and stereo widening..As far as i know their is no custom settings,there was none in my N8.I suppose its a bit of a setback but audio quality of N8 is the most detailed ive heard on an mp3 player besides cowan 10 mp3 player in 2005-6.

- Led doesn't work.

About E6
Does enybody entered to the music player- equalizer setings? There are some original eq`s, i`ve seen in pictures, but what i have not seen is if there you can customize your one eq preset like the old version E72, E75, E52 and so on. The particularity is not specified on the entyre net alltrough the E7 does have a custon eq, i found on the enternet this specification.

This does depend on the number of apps you are running in the background, I regularly close all background apps to help improve speed. As a phone I am enjoying it and not missing my previous iPhone 4, text input is second to none on Nokia e6.

AnonD-12989, 05 Jul 2011I just bought the E6 today and it seems brilliant ! But the... moreYour unit is indeed faulty. The shift key also "clicks" (as what you're trying to say) just as the other keys when they are pressed. I think you should have your unit replaced.
Regarding the volume of the speaker, I've been using a Nokia N73 before I bought the E6, and I must say the N73 is louder in terms of the loudspeaker. The loudness while using the headset for both the N73 and E6 are pretty much the same (in my opinion), but quality is much better in the E6.
Navigation thru the phone is a pleasure to the eyes. Crisp and clear. Minor lags are very negligible. In my case, I encounter it only when using heavy apps. AGAIN, THAT'S AN OPINION
So far the drawbacks are already mentioned by the others, such as the absence of notification light when there is an incoming message.

i had the E72, which I sold and bought the E6. The battery life is surprisingly lesser and the standby time is shorter than the E72. This is odd as both have the same battery pack. Maybe something to do with software/hardware? anyone has similar experience? Otherwise a great phone!

I am using an awesome E6. A question is : How can I delete search history from google search window? I tried on E6 but even after ''cleare history'' history remain. Please help.
