I use an e5 but getting e6 when it comes out,well done Nokia for giving us these superb buisness & leisure type smartphones.

Nokia has brought us all the benefits of its qwerty E-Series and added all the top features.Thats what Nokia does and why it still sells millions of fones a week..I see so many people with just a basic fone and Nokia shifts millions of these fones too.
I cant wait to get E6 because it will bring me the benefits of hd video record whilst having all my favourite apps and qwerty keypad as well.I have E72 and the battery life is off the planet and guess what ,,yes,,Nokia has included its BP-4L battery in E6 for mega battery life..

I like your talk. I have always said that Nokia always put telephony first then multimedia etc. after. Other manufacturers have long forgotten about the most important thing...telephony and telephony features...and focus on other areas like camera, music player and of late social networking. Just look at HTC's ChaCha. It'a all about Facebook. Why would someone want a phone with Facebook integrated everywhere in the phone???

This is the best business phone for this year (2011), yes it is not the best smartphone, but truly this phone are made only for business needs, either the application or the phone function it self.
I am glad that i have a chance to pre-order it through internet, now the purchase order have been closed, due it has reach 200 first pre-order quota limit from Nokia Indonesia.
When I first bought Nokia E-Series for the first time it was the Nokia E61, it was a breakthrough, the lack at that time is they don't anticipate for push mail and messaging services that Blackberry do.
But now, the have implemented Nokia push mail services and collaborate with Whats App that cross platform and cross devices. I think this phone still have the chance to be nominated as champion in business phone for this year. And why I don't said anything about Nokia Communicator or E7? Because I ever had communicator, but that device is too pricey and have function no different with E6 series beside it is not as ergonomic as E6 too.

hello gsmarena I want to ask about the following question:-
does the the nokia e6 have MULTISCANNER build in?
it is possible to install garmin xt into nokia e6?
it is possible to install java application for example: KJV Bible, jar games etc?
how to captured view close up in fixed focus?
lastly,can the existing applications such as S60 3rd install to the nokia e6 (symbian anna )?
hopefully gsmarena can give an explanation or answer from me about this nokia e6.TQ.

I like the E71 for the fact that I can pick up the phone by the face when I have it sitting in my cup holder. If the touch screen is active, I'm afraid I might start touching stuff and starting up programs when picking it up. I seriously am only upgrading from E71 to E6 because the E6 is faster and more modern in terms of software. I don't care for the touch screen.

Must admit this is the second time ive had to choose betwen 2 colours as each looks brilliant.May be the networks will do that for us keeping one colour "special"so to speak ,,,ie the white one is limited edition..

ajithpana, 09 Jun 2011will it have an issue on 256 ram on speed? and signal strenth?With a 600MHZ proccessor powerfull broadcom GPU and 1/4 GB of RAM its a bit overpowered.Nokias never have signal strength issues or build quality issues.BUT until real reviews get out into the web we will not know.
Its running the new ANNA o/s which has a lot of under the hood tweaks and newer icons and better web browser.Still as with any smartfone its real life that counts.It is going to be superb nipping onto touchscreen when needed to quickly execute a programme.
The only real contender in this group is the BB 990 with similar spec and features tho delayed again.If its slide out qwerty with hi-def video their is s/e xperia pro or s/e vivaz or HTC desire Z ..

this would be great phone if the camera have auto focus..i think nokia should reconsider that one coz they are in a downtrend position..
