this phone makes looks like an evolution of the e72, will something like this be done with the form factor of the e52?
I'm not a big fan of qwerty phones and I feel like the worst thing about my e52 is the symbianOs but this new one looks very promising :)

Not a nokia fan guy or anyone else but try get the best. Well nokia hsmalways tried to make good appeal on customers but hey a camera with FIX FOCUS whats that.This means camera is just a show thing, then again 8 mp,idont get it.

greenfriendly, 12 Apr 2011To all people commenting about the requirement for higher p... moreabsolutely bro,i second that too...i am tired of telling most of my friend around that,nokias symbian doesnt require 1ghz o dual core processors to work smoothly,their 600mhz r good enough or rather better than of 1ghz of any android which allows u to save on ur battery while getting ur work done very sufficiently.
bt these fanboyz i tell u !!! i've seen some stupid people comentin about how slow and lagy nokia symbian devicess are,without even using a single smartphone from nokia or from any other compony4that matter!!!!just bcoz 'some' people say so !!!
i own N8 and samsung galaxy tab.but honesly speakin my N8 gives me around 3days battery backup on prty regulr use where as my tab goes down in jst 1.5 to barely 2 days with same amount f usage...i know mentioned 2 devicess r prty diffrnt bt i've xperinced many androids like galaxy s-I,se X10,dell streak etc. nd i can bet on it that no android can stand infront of symbian device regardin battery life...

may be this handset must be improved for still better looking from front case,still it was looking fabulous,features r ok,nokia was so improving......a lot,but still want 2 make it,but according 2 this e-series handset..,i'm fully self satisfied

A ... morenot only the hell fixed focus but also the display, like torch and if you compare the music quality then any nokia will get 70% but ericsson will get 90% and apple will get 95% and also have a drawbacks. If you observe then that will be clear to you

why don't make at least 800Hz CPU and 512 RAM...

Been reading a lot of comments here and there on this site for all things Nokia and what have you, but my take regarding RIM and Symbian phones when it comes to being a business phone, most BLACKBERRY phones LACK SECONDARY/FRONT CAMERA!!!!!...whatever happened to mobile video calling especially if you need to be on an emergency video-conference call with your colleagues...
will post more next time...for now since this E6 hasn't reached the Asia-Pacific region yet, I'd love to hear your two cents whether I should get an E72 or E5...thanks much...cheers all!

A 600mhz processor? Wow.. slow down Nokia! Are you sure people can handle this much power in their phones? I mean dual core powered phones aside, is the world ready for technology that belongs to 2008? Nokia... connecting people with ever slowing phones...

I liked the buttons on E72 and E52 (currently own E52)
On E6-00, the buttons (Home, Cal, Mail and contacts) are strange and awkward to use.
QWERTY for E61i was best, for E6-00 they are too cramped.
Also what's the point of having VGA screen that's just 2.6 inches? at least 3 to 3.2 inches screen would have been nice. (similar to E61i)
The fixed focus is a bummer, I would prefer 5 MP with autofocus anytime.
2000 mAH battery would have also been nice. More battery life is always good. Remember I OWN E52, Know how good battery life is... but for E6-00, i would have preferred a bit larger battery.
