hey guys,just to inform you people that the notification light issue on the e6 can be resolved,well nokia has admitted that its visibility is an issue and they do change the keymat with a new one,which has a square on the centre d-pad button which makes the notification light blink very much prominent n visible,as for me i took up the issue wid my local nokia care point and they changed it for me free of charge,oh yes my phone was in warrenty though,but many care points have no idea about the issue being solved,like in my case,i did send a few mails and posted on the nokia forum,for which i did get a quick reply and a nokia employee got intouch with me personally n my issue was attented to within 2 days time.got a new keymat now n im happy wid it... Im from goa,india.

u can check the changelog on net.
1) their is noticible faster overall performance.
2) apps open & respond faster including new brower with html5.
3)new widgets added, maps improvements.
For other handsets new ui for media player app, etc are changed..

I had E72 and was pleased and now i'm using E6 as business phone with Belle. The phone hangs a lot, system is rather unstable; the WiFi goes off unexpectedly and this is annoying especially during my Skype conversation. The screen is simply too tiny for touchscreen and the responsiveness during web surfing is absolutely NOT satisfactory (incomparable to Android responsiveness). The camera is good and the battery is well enough. The GPS works ok. Number of available applications is not so impressive and most of these don't come for free. Belle needs some serious upgrades and E6 needs a bigger screen. The QWERTY keyboard is excellent and is the only true asset of this phone.

Am using this phone but my problem is that when i install 4 to 5 applications the phone will start hanging. Mine is made in china

Honestly speaking, it will be probably my next device. Now i'm using N8. In the past (2007-2008) i have had an E_71, it was really very-very good xperience. The only thing you should take in considaration is if you like touch screen or a bar-button device. In the first case i recommend N8 instead of 701 (no doubt).

and trust me after updating to belle refresh the overall experience is smooth and crisp a better battery and updated browser is also welcome

i did the update nokia belle refresh nothing new we have wait 6 month for nothing ,just internet is 5 perc more faster if you open with opera mini the rest nothing new

y......nd it has low ram and cpu.....so in my opinion 701 good bt e6 is resistant and has a good camera quality....
