you can use gps withouth a wlan connection, but it is a werry sensitive headset...I have nokia e6 and it is for the 4'th time in service...the jack connection dosen't work, software problems after the upgrade with belle, camera dosen't work, the left side button witch block the keyboard and screen dosen't work...now I am waitting to see if my problems are fixed...tomorow I have to pick it up from service...so think twice when you are planning to choose a nokia

one thing i dont like about this phone is u cant take closeup picture edof camera is cheap as compare to auto focus in e 72. nokia is best value for money

@Bittu, i had a similar problem several years ago, it's actually a card issue, check your phone's card slot with any other card, if its supported then simply replace your card as many cards new cards have this issue.

Recently I purchased a SanDisk 16Gb microSDHC card (class 4 I think) for my nokia E6. Card itself is recognized by phone, but whenever I try to record a video to a card I get an memory:
"Disk error - writing to card cannot be finished. Retry, otherwise you'll lose your data."
Then I hit the retry, but it does not help. After that, the card becomes unavalible in Files Manager app. The size of the card is detected, but there is no directory listing ("no data" message).
I have already:
- tried putting 2Gb micro SD, and it worked as a charm
- tried puttinsg the 16Gb card into my nokia e51 (fw:410.34.001), and it worked a a charm
- updated fw to 022.014 on E6, but problem is there
Questions:
1. Has anybody encountered memory problem with his 16Gb micro SD ?
2. Would it be a FW problem ? Since the card is working with old E51 ?
3. If not a FW bug, is there a workaround ?

compare to my galaxy tab 7plus 3g,that hangs frequently even just i only running one app such as opera browser

Can someone please say when will you Nokia folks be up grading the this model (E6). I have had this phone almost since its release & now need a new phone, this is a great mobile but I have been & other have been asking for something Bigger. Like the key board & the screen similar to the blackberry bold 9900 but with the materials of the Asha line so much lighter. Nokia has been my choice of mobiles since first using one & because I prefer a touch screen & key pad its now looking likely I will have to switch to Blackberry :(.

No access to Google Maps, its own Nokia maps need WiFi or 3G, due to which locating ur current location while traveling through trains are not possible.
Mostly while opening mails, an error message appears "operation failed"
Sometimes while viewing gallery the same above message appears.
You never know when this phone will throw the error message.
I was a great fan of Nokia;instead of people trying to convince me for other brand smartphones.....i decided to go with nokia.
I am proved wrong.
Next time Samsung....that for sure (my friends are enjoying them). I am busy restsrting my Nokia E6 again and again. It hangs whenever you in mid of any urgent work.
