To check specs check official site or dowload manual. As for WiFi, it supports all common encryption standards used by WiFi today.

@ jay
It really depends what you want from the phone. Read the specs and see if it fits what you want. Keep in mind that this is business phone and majority who will get it for that purpose won't pay that much as they will get via contract.
As for 3rd party application, if they are supported for S60 you will be able to run it. If you already have some "must have" applications that make sure you get phone that can support them first.

To be honest, I still didn't play with videos at all - as I still didn't buy memory card, but that might change this week. I thought real player would play it to be honest. If not I guess I will need to find something else.

Yup, it doesn't come with any game at all installed. If you check Nokia site for E60 you will find some software for it. gsmarena likes to break URLs so if you still be having issues let me know and I will try to post it somehow.

So far so good. Charged phone once and battery life is still lasting. Got the phon on Wednesday nite and today its still more than 2/3 battery life. Havent done any wifi so far as wireless router hasnt arrived. But been using it as a media player as i have 2gb RS MMC. SOund quality is above average. Nothing like the Nokia 6233 speakers or even the SE ones. The ability to load up pictures of any size onto the phone does make it really cool. Screen is the best. And i mean the best! Even better than my friends Panasonic VS6. Better than N73 or Motorola V3x. It's that clear.
As i'm sitll exploring phone, will give further reviews as i go along. Still sick guys so will take it slow.
Oh, H, i have a question, what program to u use to load up videos in the phone? Any free ones? The smartmovie 3.25 seems to be good but is too ex for a program for a phone. Any sugggestions?

Got the phone. Have to say it's thicker in width than i thought but thinner in depth.
Anyways, got the FW update and all. Didnt really have time to play with it as i'm sick with the flu at the moment and sitll have paperwork to do.
Just realised i prefer to run it rotated. But will have to learn how to sms that way! Also wondered if its std preinstalled software DIDN'T include any games in it. Cuz there aren't any games in mine.
Want to load up the 2gb rs mmc with some software. Anyone care to share good sites for it? Also, would want to put in a couple of maps of cerftain towns of europe so i can check it out should i get lost.
Cheers. Will do proper review once i feel better.

I havent updated my E60 fw yet. Would want to wait and see what its benefit is. And now it seems that battery can run longer after the update. I mean WLAN is enabled and keeps searching for available connection all the times although not connected.
@H
Do you have any more impression on the performance of battery and other aspects after fw update?

What do you mean you have access to your LAN? You mean WLAN? But there is no DHCP? I just managed to setup mine E60 with some encryption (had some issue with WPA and linksys router). I didn't test it without DHCP, but in that case use Tools->Settings->Connection->Access Points -> Select your access point and then select Options (left softkey) -> From there choose 'Advanced Settings' and then 'IPv4 settings'.
@ Dexeaur
After fair usage of phone after some time with new fw I still have 6 days max. What is noticable now is that whenever I use heavilly phone battery does last longer than before.
As for WiFi being up all the time, I assume believe believe WiFi is enabled all the time. If you go to Connection Manager and check available WLAN neworks you get response right away - this why I believe too WLAN is up and searching for access points all the time (wihtout connecting of course).

My E60 arrived today! JOY!
Will be charging it up 1st. Will do a small review soon. Vantha, have u tried updating your firmware like H? Is the battery life still bad after the firmware update? Also, when u said the wifi cant be shut does that mean u have been leaving it on for 2 days straight?

I have Nokia E60 almost a month now and generally it is a very nice phone. It has a brilliant display showing off up to 16 million colours. It is the best screen I have ever seen so far. The picture is very clear, detailed and bright enough. The MP3 playback quality through loudspeaker is mediocre (slightly worse than Nokia 6230i). However, its MP3 playback through headphone is superior than Nokia 6230i. Nokia E60 supports RS-MMC of up to 2GB with hotswap capability. Currently, I use 1GB of RS-MMC and can store hundreds of MP3s with good quality. Internal phone memory is also very big: around 65MB. Most of all, E60 has pre-installed Word, Excel, and PowerPoint which support the most common features of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It can also view pdf. documents. In addition, it also has built-in WiFi which can be used either in “adhoc” or “infrastructure” mode, but it cannot be turned off. To sum up, I have not encountered any major problems with the phone so far. Battery life does not last longer than 2 days for average users. Nokia should have concentrated more efforts on battery. I would strongly recommend E60 for those who do not need built-in camera!!!
