A truly great phone.I've been using the 9500 and 9300 Communicators for a year and a half and I have to say I am really impressed by this phone.the OS it features is better than the Series 80 Sybmian in the 9500/9300(i).And the E61 is really fast compared to the 9000s.A state-of-the-art smartphone!

now i see mobile tv on my nokia e61i. the picture is fantastic. i have 10 tv channels on it.mobile tv is provided by my 3g network. you pay a montly fee and you choose what channels you prefer. yesterday i shoot some video clips , and transfered them to my laptop. also when i go for a walk i always listen to its fm radio, the sound is awesome with its stereo headphones.anyone has that miracle to exchange ideas ?

i have put some dvd ON MY NOKIA E61i, with the makayama software i bought from internet , its picture its awesome. you can put a 2 hour film in an 128mb mini sd card . of course i have 4gb mini sd card on it. i bought it from ebay.

Hi, can somebody tell me how to backup the sms from this phone? i want to backup sms only. currently i store all my sms in the memcard. i want to format the memcard, put the sms and contacts only, and do firmware upgrade.
unlike contacts, i can't just select all the sms in memcard and copy to the phone mem. thx

The best Smartphone you can get. The VPN features: excellent. Security, WiFo, Browser, Data backup ... all excellent.
It is thin, but still functional. It's not bulky at all.

After my worst night mare with N6708, i bought this phone(on 27/12/2006) and let me tell all u guys out there who are looking to buy one...E61...its awesome, amazing features and mind blowing display clarity and did i mention WiFi rocks? Dont bother that it doesnt have a camera....This is an outstanding business phone.... Feel free to mail me anytime for any kind of queries over technology...

- can this phone open the attachements of the blackberry that are jpg..or other other formats of pictures,
- can be used the voice over Internet option
- what module do we need for gps positioning.

I have been using this phone for almost 3months now and I'm really happy with the phone.
Looks like Nokia has finally managed to launch good business phones. The 6708 was a total disaster.

Atta, when you used it for 2 days (3G on) and 3 - 4 days (3G off):
1. did you also make a lot of phone calls ?
2. did you sms a lot ?
3. did you playing the device quite often ?
4. did you use wi fi a lot ?
5. did you listening to MP3 a lot ?

I think all you guys who know about phones should leave e61i untill it is out so you will have to discuss what we have now, e61. Thank you.
I tried to install some rar files from symbianv3. com as somebody pointed out they have free applications, but my phone says 'file can not open' for all rar files I got there. Is this device not compatible with rar files? Thanx in advance.

yes you certainly can trust him. However, it doesnt mean that E61i still exist. You can check the pictures that he posted in his auction. if it's like this picture

yoyo people, I have to say.. this is truely, the ultimate phone!
fast, great display, and not really buggy...
I love it!
but i just have one minor problem with it...
and itz with the browser.. it can't play macromedia video!
i really want to ask if there are any symbian browser that supports videos and macromedia when broswer. i'm quite sick of seeing a sailing ship when browser with the E61...

the guy with e61i has absolutely right.e61i exists . i found the e61i on ebay after a lot of search. it is sold usd 750 plus usd 45 for shipping. i ask the seller and he told me that he has only two devices . i also ask him where did he find them , and he told me from bulgaria. its nokias testing devices for promotion he said. his feedback is 100% positive. it has all the information of the device in the remarks. i dont know what to do , if i can trust him . somebody help.
