nope, it's not gonna be out for a while. Possible release date is midyear of 2007. That is one thing for sure. A friend of mine works in Nokia Asia and tell me this. What would probably be release is the prototype of E61i which will cost you more than $3000, that is for sure.

nokia e61i is coming in the next weeks
dont listen to anyone. i have a friend in nokia finland and he told me that it will released next month . so dont buy this phone e61 which has nothing. believe me, its worth waiting for a while.

well as a person i like the phone but if it has a touch screen it would have been much more better.

it turns out that E61i is cancelled. Not sure when is it going to be released. One thing for sure is not anytime soon this year or until the 3rd quarter of 2007.

i am vivek and i am using this phone from last one week its a great phone to work on very nice phone for emails and browsing great battery life very nice screen love to work on this But little bit big infact if u will work on it u will feel this phone comfortable not big great size to work on i am sending my views from my e 61 phone only.need help i am looking for skype for e61 can any one tell me from where i can down load skype

hey Rax, thx for the pic of E61. It's pretty much the same like the one that i have, a nokie E61. Do you have any E61i picture? Other than the only three pictures around

yeap it is nice. I see the pictures everywhere, and they all the same!!! Thats the thing. That what doubts me. All sites have the same pictures of this E61i. Even nokia does not have the picture, nice eh?

Camera is not a really important tool.And also, if I want to capture a really good scene, I still prefer to use my trusty Nikon S2.Otherwise other ppl can use their camera phones and just bluetooth to mine LOL.E61 may not be as slim as Motorola Q but it has 10 times more functionality. The only reason I'm holding out on this phone is I want Nokia TO PUT MORE RAM INTO THEIR PHONES!I heard from all S60 3rd edition users that Multitasking is horrendous and I hope Nokia E61i has more RAM which I highly doubt

Cut the crap with the camera. This is a power tool, a business device, not a toy. It's the BEST device for mobile internet (browsing and e-mail) and for handling office documents and above all it fits in pocket. This is the meaning of mobile office. The discussion about the camera is infantile, that is not a device for kids.

Im very much doubt on the release date of E61i. Ok, Nokia hasnt even talk about it. And it's not under their "coming soon" phones page. So, how is it possible this E61i will be release at the end of dec? Correct me if im wrong but seriously, it's like impossible. I like my E61 a lot but E61i would be my next phone. but like in a year from now.

and lastly.. the screen is absolutely clear and legable in direct sunlight, it gets my vote as a very good, usable, feature rich, phone(device)
