Just wondering whatis the maximum number of contacts this phoine can hold. I had a test unit today, and once it had 4500 contacts in it it said it ran out of memeory eventhough memory was far from full. It would scroll through contacts, but would not search them. Anyone have a solution or tips on this?

Thanks for the info. Auto was all ready off.
Nokia China say the model is not sold in China, so no info but try Hong Kong Nokia.
I haven't been able to find an email address for Nokia Hong Kong. Their web site doesn't appear to have one.
One company, I'd have thought they would have been able to search their own intranet and work it out for me.
Guess service only goes so far. It will make me think about buying another Nokia (I am on my sixth)

hi, can any1 help me plz? I hv this phone but once when i acess the yahoo mail, the phone suddenly dosen't respond.. tried every way i could gues but still cn't get it right. i can acess the mail website such a shotmail, gmail and etc but i can't acess the yahoo one. can any1 teach me how 2 fix it? It tould e nice if you add me by hotmail or just post here. ty.

Hi all, does anyone know how to fast forward if you are watching a video on real player? If not is there any other video players I can download and use that has the fast forward function? Any advice would be great...

Hi, I suppose if you write only S, it is normal that you get all the S but if you narrow the search by putting SAM, it is sure that you will get SAM unless there are more than 1 Sam. Why not try this.

Help,
I have a very simple problem but cant seem to solve it.
When I want to go to a contact say Sam I press contacts and the S I get all the "S" before I get the people who start with S. Is there any setting that will let me go to the people starting with S only and not search through unecessary names.
Nokia pls note we need this feature as we know who we would like to call and not waist time scrolling through unecessary names.

Hi Guys
Can anyone seem to be able to set up VPN for their e61? I wanna set up VPN for my device so i can use internet at uni but i can't seem to do it. They use Username and Password, also a proxy.
Any idea would be really appreciated

I am thinking of getting E61 and particularly interested in the wifi feature but wonder how easy it is to use.
Has anyone found it useful for Skype etc.
Is it easy to set up.
Do you have to type in the wep key in order to connect broadband each time
Assume the new E62 has no wifi.
Any help or suggestions. Thanks

Yeah, I'm not WiFi saavy to figure out all the advanced WLAN steup options for this phone. Are there settings to give the phone a better chance of a connection with outside WiFi hotspots?

Try turning off Auto Bookmarking. And I suggest getting a file explorer, to clean out the cookies, cache, temp and etc..
Yes a 2MP is nice as well as other multimedia functions. But you have to understand that there are reasons why Nokia disabled these. Until a work around, we should just enjoy this nice device.

i have the e61, its an excellent phone, especially for business
a 2mp cam would be nice and touchscreen, and an FM adio too.
but anyways,
can anyone tell me what is the purpose the that small white light in the very top left corner that comes in when ur turn the phone on. lmk guys thanks

Unfortunately, my problem is that I do not have access to the routers. I travel and want to connect to hotel, cafe, bar etc Wifi spots. Obviously, they will not let me near their setups!!
So, if any other ideas, please shoot them through. Also, does anyone have an email for the tech support at Nokia.
