Do u know about the office applications of this phone? What is the different between this one, and the mobile window for PDA? Which one is the best?

to Nate,
although the joystick is limited to 4 ways scroll, but it helps alot on playing games such as shooter (i bought sky force reloaded). as for the durability.. depends on the user, i've bought my E61 for half year and the joystick is still alive and kicking :)
regarding the camera.. i'm not a phone camera supporter, i prefer no camera at all:) but if Nokia insists on adding a camera, i prefer a front camera to back camera. yes i know can make video call even wihout camera. with front camera, can take picture for mms, and video call, even can take a picture on yourself. back camera cant let your video call partner see your handsome face :)
and.. how much do the mem card makers bribe nokia? i've bought a 1gb mini sd for my e61. if i wanna upgrade to e61i, i must buy another micro sd???
my personal opinion, it's not worth upgrading if you already own a E61. but if you have not, by all means go for E61i.

2GB MiniSD is about the same price as the 2GB MicroSD. For $40 thats good enough, and to be honest, why is it a bad idea to downgrade/upgrade (how ever you see it) from MiniSD to MicroSD? Both can range up to 4GB, and rumored up to 16GB. And Im pretty sure the E61i/E61 can support up to 4GB :) and Im ready to buy this once it comes out, but wait a little as price can drop like the E61 on its first release.
For the Processor, and the RAM, unfortunately, it would stay the same, but I believe the firmware it will come with has a patch that will atleast improve what the E61 handset is suffering from. And I believe the next firmware will release 2 more MB to the available RAM. And the “Original” Music Output*, will surely or should be available with the E61i.
Now, the 4-Way Nav-Key is better than the current joystick, as it gets stiff and hard to navigate when used for a while on a E61. But the bad side is, if you are playing a game, which requires a full digital/rotational support, the nav-key wont support it. But hey the control should be more responsive, which doesnt require much power to open an application, and the keyboard, should be faster at typing, cause’ of the added space in between.
This phone will be released in the U.S., and thats one of the reason why I dont want to get it, meaning other common people will have this. Not sure about the Carrier, but it will be between Cingular, the “New AT&T” (which is rumored to bring back the Blue Sim Cards) and T-Mobile.
E61i we are all waiting for your arrival, please dont dissapoint us. But if you do, N95 or possibly E90, here we come :)
* - Make a Voice Call to customer service, or dial a number on the E61, and open or switch to Music Player and play a song, now notice the output is much louder and richer. That is not a bug, but an error and conflicts with the phone, because of the ability to play Media Files while on a call. E61i should have this fixed, and now we can listen to Music and watch Video the way its supposed to sound
P.S. as long as the E61i is not crippled like the E62, were fine!

overall a better E61 and probably the best phone in the market right now. don't bother upgrading from the E61 though. Not much as been improved. I guess i'll keep mine until they come out with a real upgrade, such as GPS receiver, radio, etc. I'm also curious to find out what the center button will be like because i never had a problem with my joystick in the middle! No really, never did! I don't know what you guys are talking about its hard to use!!! I guess I'll check it out, but wouldn't that be hard for games though? Joystick seems better, i don't know until i actually try it out! Right on, I guess Nokia has their E61iiiiiiiiiiiiii under their shelves and every year they make one addition so they can have more sales. Thats always the case with tech companies, but what can we consumers do? I wish they'd have a website where i could order and customize my phone, like you can when buying a pc, now that would be awesome! How absurd is it to only offer 60MB of memory? I mean the iphone came out with 8GB! They should make 4GB standard with an option to add external via SD, dont you think??? 60MB>WTF??!!
I wish i had a time machine and go 10years from now and grab some technology coming back, that would be awesome! of course grab the almanac too ;) todays tech companies are so reluctant in releasing the ultimate product just because they're trying to squeeze ever dime out of our pockets, like this for example.. they could have come out with the cam on the E61 from the beginning, but no, they had to leave it out and bring the E61i a year later with camara. ppssshhhh! what, do they think we're stupid or something?? we know whats going on, and guess What NOKIA i'm not buying it until i see a real Upgrade!

OOOMMMGGG!!! I SOOOOOO wanna get this fone!! It totally ROX! It has all the features I want and it looks pretty cute too. I mean sure, it's kinda big but it's still like a cute little computer to me. I've seen the E61 and it's not THAT big when you hold it, so this one might be okay. But I still have second thoughts and also want the N95. Hey, sliders rok! AND, it has a front camera. Man this is a tough choice. Maybe I'll just get whichever comes out first and when the other is out, I'll get that too. I hate to brag but I'm rich. If u all think I'm snooty or snobbish, don't. I just don't want u think I can't afford. But I share my money with the homeless when I can. I'm not greedy!!!

The E61i has to be good... am currently using a N72 and i think Symbian rocks...the only problem with the E61 was the absence of a Camera...not a big problem but a problem neverthless when compared to the latest internet phones for other manufacturers...dont know when its gonna reach India...or has it already reached??? am buying it ASAP

I've bought the Nokia E62 because it was very subsided here in Brazil and discovered a new world, an amazing mobile phone! I loved the wide display, the functionalities, the loud speakers and everything. And now this E61i with camera and Wi-fi connection, certainly it will be my next handset!!!!

used the e61, was quite happy with it.. but i would be complete with the jog dial...i very useful when in scrolling.....
a very good feature in blackberry n se p990
nevertheless.. an improved over the earlier version though no surprises.

Hi all. i from country of india and I love nokia the e61i. i buy an e61i mobile using my pocket money. an e61i phone look verdy verdy good, size also verdy small and pocketable when i wear a jean. i show off to my friends using an e61i.
I have three word for these phone, WOW.
