Anyone know if the e61i can use an 8gb memory card? What is the largest card that any of you users have used in this phone?

hey i had got E61i, but when i dwn load a wallpaper throw nokia web site, it had dwn loaded but i cant fund it...help

hi all,
i am using this phone,honestly speaking, the phone are big but good for browsing.so, iam looking foward to take nokia E71.iam using E61i because of the blackberry function only..actually for receiving email sometimes so hard coz the connection always drop..

The battery is exceptionally good .
Call quality is above ordinary .
The phone does not hang .
Web is good too but if you are a avid surfer than load opera mini . Music player is better than walkman phones. But the camera is below average . In fact if you like to shoot pictures and video than this phone is not good .
No fm radio .
Also a little huge on the hand .
You cant operate the phone in i single hand.
Earspeaker volume is a little on the lessor side. Still the incoming call quality is very good . . .

I have searched arnd for a great qwerty phone with great features and my interest finally rested on nokia e61i.now pls can any experienced e61i user tell me abt the advantages and disadvantages of this phone? I will appreciate it in details.thanks.

you may be having some bug....
DownLoad anti virus and if you dont want buy get a trail version .
Or you may have set remote lock in security settings, if you have,
then go to memory card menu and remove password,
the password is the remote lock message that you may set to lock the phone remotedly in case of lose or theft.........

I am facing a problem with my E61i handset. When ever I reboot the phone, some of the 3rd party applications stop working. When I re-install any one of these applications again all the other applications also start working normally. This happens all the time. Please help.

Hi everyone..
I had bought the e61i over two months ago,
i have a few advice for those people who use this phone.
Messages should be set in phone memory,
and not in memory card.- In this case the phone does operate smoothly.....
opera mini or any other java applications should be installed in phone memory-they open fast and exit faster and function smoothly-
before charging, the phone should be switced off for 10 minutes and switched on again, the battery lasts longer.
switch off java / ecma script , so the web works smoothly.- web settings-
...............

2]can i view and EDIT ms office files. Yes you can, you can pay and upgrade software for more features(quickoffice upgrade)
3]does it really hangs too much? or just a lie. i dont think it hangs that much. it works great and i'm glad i have it.
4]can i use n73 handsfree unit on e61i[both have pop port]? Not sure but it should work.
also some one said there is no where to know if u exit a program. but press and hold symbian key and it goes to a "task manager" where you can see whats open and switch between applications

The Nokia E61i is good instrutment, except when you are using it as a telephone. You need to have it in the speaker mode or ear piece hanging off of you inorder to hear. You cannot hear the person that you talking to otherwise. As a telephone it is weak!

I have been using this cell for the past 5-6 months it is the best coperate phone to be used
it is compatale to blackberry and all
