i suggest you upgrade your firmware. just make sure to back all your files first using officesuite. some of your 3rd party apps have to be re-installed after upgrade.

hello im new owner of nokia e61i,so far i like the phone,please guys help me,please tell me how if i want to play files from my comp(i transfered to my nokia such as video clip)and also if im connect to internet,i i open youtube its say i need latest flash player for open youtube.plaese please help from nokia expert.my email yong.kenny@yahoo.com

Should I update my firmware? Will that mess up anything? i.e. make the phone run slower, make it problematic when I want to install applications...etc..

you must be surfing from the built in wap browser,
there are 2 browser in the phone,
one is for wap and one is for web,
though the wap browser can surf the web it behaves erratically,
if you want to surf web pages Then you must surf from the web browser,
also images and java,ecma scripts should beset to off.
Yoy wil see there will not be any problem.
Still it is better to download operamini 4.1
and use it as the default browser......

Hi everybody,previously i used the e51,
now have bought e61i.
I have often heard and read that the software of e51i and e90 is the same...
But buying an economic product has its setbacks.
The e61i is far better phone.
The web is the fastest and ofcourse the opera mini uses the features even better.
I now believe the browser in this phone is the best experience ive ever had.
The phone itself is not that slow as i imagined.
Alarm has no repeats,
web and wap browsers are divided
apart from this this phone is supurb..

This is a video review of the new Nokia E71. I got it from The Boy Genius Report Blog. Nobody knows when this device will come out or what will be the cost of it. It is rumored to be announced in a month but nothing is for sure.

Does any one have latest information about the launching of E71. i downloaded some software for n73. while viewing its properties and the sets where it can be installed, i found reference of E71. But nokia website is silent. when i enquired through email, they said whatever information is there it is on the website. can anyone throw some light please

Hi everybody,
this is the best handset I ever used
i've been using this handset for 8 months now and its workin just fine but lately started to be slow and take alot of time to start my Applications( just a few maybe 3 or 4 ) as i'm not loading it wiz alot of usless software.
The 2nd thing that really botherin me the internal ROM memo i think its not big enough as the phone while browsing the internet get loaded and cut the connection off back to standby screen by it self ... !!!
its realy a very bad experience especially if u where doin something important at ur web page and can't get it back
I think that E51 is much much better except the qwerty keyboard and screen size
guys if anyone of u faceing the same problem plz let me know

segakok, 26 May 2008its been a while since i finalise to buy this phone. previo... morehi chap, i would really appreciate if u told me whether your phone can
1.manage calls option such that you can select the contacts you want to reach you from your memory in phohe.
2.sony erickson k750i has this feature but calls are limited to only 10 numbers.
3. a certain motorolla allows you to receive calls only saved in your sim card and rejects all the others.
how good is nokia E61i?
please help.
