this unit allows me to get on my vonage in a wirless zone and use my soft phone to chat unlimited to the USA and Canada and every where else for cheap now I see why AT&T and he other provides wouldn't allow use the customers on this deal in the US with this phone

there are just rumors about the announcing dates..they always are...and they pritty much tend to be right all the time (although they have been wrong before..hope not this time).
I for one don't like that the screen in E71 will me smaller...what the hack....people who thought that this device is too large shpuld've gone for another device...but what don't you do for market sales ahh?!?....

how come! every one is announcing arrival of E71, but the nokia web site is totally silent about it. is a hoax or fact. i have postponed by decision to buy E71 purely on this account. can any one enlighten please.

Why on Earth the Eseries have that earpiece design?
It happens to pull one`s ear hair! And it hurts!
I had to buy a blackberry because of it but I would rather prefer to buy a Nokia.
Can you design a proper earpiece in the next E71, please?

Finally nokia announced the release date for e71i is 08-may-2008. Yes tommorow. The difference between the e61i & e71i is not much. The only major difference is of camera 3.2 Mp replacing 2.0 MP
The negative side of e71i is that its screen is only 2.4 inch. Thats quite small as compared to e61i. Rest connectivity features are all same e61i is not weak on any point. Its only the time factor that demands the change.

Can somebudy please tell me if E61i is going to work in new UMTS T-Mobile just lounchet.
im in NYC and they sayng that 3G is on but im still stuck with EDGE.

I've had this phone for 6 months now, and I must say its quite good. Everything works fine, and with all the comm possibilities, you find yourself browsing the internet whenever you've more than five min on your hands (I've bought opera mobile specifically for that :)). Battery life is excellent, lasts around 2.5/3 days with excessive use.
The only cons I've found are
Its not that quick, sometimes it takes 5 to 6 seconds just to open a simple sms.
The speaker is very very low, specially if you're surrounded by people it impossible to hear what the other side is saying. You must either attach a headset or go into a quiet room.
Anyways I recommend this phone if you want to access the internet and your email wherever you go, enjoy the luxury of a very good qwerty keyboard (I've got quite big fingers yet typing is very good),3rd party applications, and an excellent battery life.

can some one tell me whether the head phone is mono or stereo. the web site shows a mono head phone, which if true will be a disappointment.Also, will N 73 head phone work on it as some one suggested.

i got this phone and its been very great working, but i can't see any videos file on internet while i am on wifi. just like we see videos on our compter. is there anything i need to download so i can watch any videos on online.
