i've been using this phone for the past seven months now. ive had a firmware upgrade last friday and too sad that the phone works more slowly at first.
second day, it works fine again but it is still a bit slow when opening folders...6 to 8 seconds. also noticed that when pressing the Menu Icon/Task...lot of programs are when in fact it was newly opened/reboot.
i think the only improvement is the additional themes (pink and plum color...)but that's not good for boys like me.
nevertheless, i still like it as my business phone.

the new nokia e 61 i is an amazing business phone. Talk about a feature and its there. Navigators, maps , GPS, office , WIFI, wireless presenter , screen export and u will be happy to find all of them with user friendly interfaces and an amazing help & support.
what it lacks is a FM and a flash , so the inability to take pictures at night and listen to music , it also lacks the predictive text input but thats not a big problem since it has a complete QWERTY keyboard so the problems not at all significant
the OS performs as per the expectations
All in all a nice phone to have one with a excellent sound quality as per the business phone standards

Help! I shut my phone off and lost the ringtone, it would only vibrate. So I try it again and it's silent. I can't find anywhere to turn up the volume or change the ringtone.
What am I Missing? Can anyone help?

I got this phone 5 days...it really gives u a feel good factor, but is your looking for a multimedia phone this is not the phone which i would recommend. it is a business phone.i am loving it.

When using Implus(at backgrund) and Browsing, sudently the browser stop and the screen going back to standby screen, memory low (to low for multi tasking). How low can Nokia go?

Been using this phone for about 5 months now. Everything about it is great, except for 1 thing: it's slow. Now, before you throw bricks at me, please let me explain. I don't know how "slow" this is compared to other smartphones, since the only smartphones I've used are Nokia's and have experienced similar performance with them. Example: Google Maps on this phone is basically pointless. The phone is too slow and processes things too slowly. No point using it. Everything about this phone is great, though. Don't plan on using CPU-intensive software on this phone, though, you may not be happy with its performance. I do have to admit, however, that it's not slow to the point where I have to dump it and get another phone. It's tolerable for 75% of the things I do. As for the other 25% of tasks, it's just a bunch of waiting for things to process.

Bought it about two months ago, two days later it couldnt open the main manu, some software issues. Then i was given a new one, works fine so far. My first symbian, i am still unaware of all its capabilities, but i think tis is one of the best phones money can buy these days. Fast interface, solid construction, good keys, perfect dimensions, feels like a rock when held in hand
