Guys this fone is simly a STAR, I am one of those dudes who change fones often and boy I have never been happier with a cell fone more than my Nokia E61i = simply the best! + as some of you guys said it looks super classy and display is amazzing too, 16M plus you got 2.0MP camera, tell me one thing that E61i can't do? I guess those who dont appreciate Nokia would say it can't cook or some thing impossible !!

Can some one tell me how to install yahoo on e61i. I tried to install yahoo go but it says that the firmware needs to be upgraded. Has anyone tried doing this.

got this phone for 3 weeks now, great smartphone. but i encountred one problem. it somtimes result to (menu error -1) when opening some applications, especialy in instalat folder. trying to find out how to cure this bug, i must tap the power button and press remove mem card, then ok. ofter this i can acces to the application which has an error previosly. have someone encountred the same problem? how can i totaly cure this software bug. any help pls. tnx

I Think Plastic is not condector of the heat,
at minimum tepr. but matel hit up very soon.
my p990i does not hot any time,even i talk
30 min.continue.
with matel you feel some heat on your ear&hand when you talking 30 min.
HAHAHAHAHA...THIS IS THE MAGIC OF MATEL
P990 RUNNING in "OS" also.

Dear Unknown, That's how you install the worlmate in e61i.
Follow the instruction:-
You can download the application directly to your mobile by pointing your device browser to the following OTA (over the air) link: http://mobile.mobimate.com/s60
- If you re using the ‘Nokia PC Suite', you can save the downloaded .sis file on you PC, make sure your device is connected to the PC (Via cable, Bluetooth etc.) and double click it. The installation should start automatically.
- You can transfer the .sis file to your phone (via Bluetooth, Infrared, Memory card, email etc.) and then run it from your phone (open the file and follow the instructions on the device).

The E61i has similiar ARM9-based processor running at 206 MHz (2 MHz less than P990i) but it lacks graphics acceleration. the E61i being slightly faster in math calculations and the P990i winning in graphic test (thanks to the acceleration). All in all, P990i wins this benchmark and gets a slightly higher overall score.
and reception of p990i is very rich & clean
i am NOKIA lover, but true is true.

On other thing. SE have wifi and not G. The browser is nto as good as the E61i. The keyboard....I won't even comment a full qwerty E61i keyboard vs SE. I don't hate SE, I'm just telling you the facts. I work for a Cell phone company. SE - Moto - Samsung always search for a network. That is why reception IS better with nokia phones. Nokia stick to one network and alwasy search for that specific one. U can't really do anything about it even if you do manuel network search. It's the way it work. I had 3 samsungs , now one Moto E6 and waitting for my E61i to come by mail this week.

hahhah It's funny, stop showing off SE. SE has lots of features but sucks as a phone. Reception sucks on SE. Are you getting a phone to talk with it or to use it as an mp3 + camera? Everyone knows that no phone can beat Nokia in recpetion. With this OS you can do everything you want. On top of that the phone is made out of metal and looks classy. The SE are plastic phones that look like toys. It's rare you see a business man with a SE. It's for teens!!!

Swizz you are right,this is not perfect phone. every user mis lot of function like FM,FRONT CAMERA,A2DP,FAX and there is no way to extend call record time limit's.
i go to SE P990i, because he is the somthing,
extra & new.
processor wise p990i go ahead.
p990i have 208 mhr
E61i have 206 mhr
p990i video play speed 30 fr/sec
E61i ------------------15 fr/sec

first decide what you want...you want good camera and music go for sony ericssons...you want good business phone with almost all connecting option that too very cheap than come on this side of fence there can be no other option to describe this beautiful phone and for those who compareit to calculator.........dear go and buy some good mutimedia phone dear business phones are not meant for you
