I am having a problem with my Nokia E63, it is unable to receive 3G signal, whereas my Nokia N70 is receiving the 3g signal perfectly. Is there a defect in this device or all the Nokia E63 models.........

I'm using this fone since more thn a year n i feel its a luvly fone, works great on the internet, supports the PDF files, we can download some great exciting games in it, and its quite reliable.. only prob is that it gets hanged but thats not a big issue.... so buy it.. dont think!

Again you should be blaming yourself. Browser? If you don't like the in-built one, use Opera Mobile. If you don't like that, can you think of something better for the same price as this phone? Bluetooth GPS receiver and GPS software can be added to give it turn-by-turn GPS. That's why it's a smartphone. You won't get official free Ovi Maps turn-by-turn support though.

Which phones, in your opinion, are better in the same price range? Even some of the newer qwerty bar phones don't have a translfective screen like this Nokia has, which is legible in direct sunlight. You don't see your face in the phone at all. Are you sure you are speaking of the E63?
...not easy SW updates, no games, no video-codecs (Unbless u waste tens of thousands of hours seeking for softwares on net) and symbian is horrible.

CorePlayer and SmartMovie are popular non-free choices. Lots of free software out there to convert videos from your PC to your phone too. Like MediaCoder.

Nokia should stop making phones because you bought a phone with limited finances which you expected unreasonable things from?
It's a business phone with smaller screen and poor camera. It has some good strengths as a business phone and some OK features as a multimedia phone and browsing phone, considering the screen size and resolution. Its battery life is pretty good too. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you decided to read the review here and elsewhere you would know this and you'd be an informed customer rather than an irate customer with unrealistic demands.
Nokia didn't misrepresent itself here. You simply made a poor choice for your requirements and you choose to blow off some steam here :)
That doesn't mean it's Nokia's fault nor does it mean this is a bad phone. All it means is you should make better decisions, right?
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
For many people, this is an ideal phone for their requirements. I have been using it for 1 year and the only really annoying thing to solve is getting your own certificate and key from opda.cn and signing software yourself with Freesigner or other apps, which isn't very friendly for those who want to install apps that aren't signed or have expired certificates.

I used E63..its cheap n best...now my E63 some1 stollen...but again im going to buy same1...coz i like it most...almost all options i know it. Any1 know..in E63 front there is keypad power saver sensor there...every1 thinks its front camra, but it isnt :-)

Why do you blame nokia with you stupid decision in this phone. It is already stated that this is an "Economy" mobile phone. And you said yourself you bought this phone for financial reasons so why did you bought this in the first place. I personally have been using this mobile phone for over a year now I dont't have any complaints. I have like a lot of high end mobile phones and i still bought this mobile phone over the qwerty phone of nokia and specially blackberry. I would sell my android phone just to have this mobile phone.

I did not search the net before buying an now I repent. Hang is happening bcoz of update version.. I didnt update my cell,other vise my cell would be hanged n many other problem (happened with my friends).. Even i hacked my ell.. Best phone.. but no need to update version for me..

I've had this phone for about 1.5 years now and i can assure you this phone is better than e71/e72/e6. the reason? this phone is made in Finland the more expensive ones are made in China/Korea. The newer and more expensive version of this qwerty keyboard are noticeably less quality, whereas this Nokia has the durability/quality of the older nokia phones i used to own which were made in Finland. Get this one not the E6 or the E71/E72, but make sure it is MADE IN FINLAND.

E63 is the boss. Its best set i ever used. I hacked it & can install any soft. I also update soft. Ver. in my pc to 501.001.21. Superb set. Bt prb is hang!! however it is the best bz hang happen alsmost all set.
