I just love buy this phone but someone has suggested me that there are some problems during connecting it with PC or laptop n told me 2 go 4 Nokia 5233. i'm confused. plz help me.

But I do experience keypad hangs(Keepads refuse to function) after using Java applications like Opera Mini for some time. Do you experience such in this latest firmware 500.21.009? RM 437
Anyone with this new firmware can try this to see if yours hangs
-Lauch any Java application; Opera Mini, BlueFTP etc
-Use application for some time.
-Close the application by exiting.
-Relaunch the application again or any other Java application.
-Use for some time and close.
-Repeat (using the same or other Java application)for 5 or 6 times to see if it hangs.
This is a serious bug in this Firmware as
-It pisses me off.
-You have to restart the phone for keyPads to work again
Please, I need to report this.
I have tried every thing viz
-Hard reseting the phone
-Re-installing the firmware up to 3 times. Still no solution.
Its a serious firmware problem I need to report.

Andy, 10 Nov 2010I upgraded the firmware to 500.21.009 it is much smoother ... moreis it worth the upgrade? and why did you upgrade? does ur unit having problems with the original firmware?

I upgraded the firmware to 500.21.009
it is much smoother and little fast now..
but not much changes to the nokia applications.. still the same..

But i still have ... moreDude, go to www.mobile9.com n register thr..while selectin d phn, select e72 n nt e63..remembr al softwares in e72 wrk in e63..d mobile9 hv done sum mistake in d e63 softwares, so select e72..thr u ll get hundreds of useful softwares n games 4ur phn..enjoy!!

guys i love using my e63 specially wifi.. But i still have a problem where can i update my software and where or what site i can download some applications for this? Aside from ovi thanks everyone.. Your reply is very much appreciated.

then press options>>select settings>>software installation>> select "all"...there you go... though some themes and applications still cannot be installed...due to some ''expired cert.'' etc.. (i'm sorry for any wrong grammar... i'm not fluent in english^^)
