Sori, 01 Oct 2010If the screen is flickering under normal use (when it start... morewel it flickers whenever i press some button...i see few lines flicker across t middle of t screen..yes i shld get a new one....thanks...by t way i stil think e 63 roxxxx

For hanging and freezing problem:
at first i had these problems but not now,do exactly as i say, in ur top display of shortcut keys keep the menu and atleft corner u have menu remove that and keep settings,every thing will be fine........(if u access menu directly freezing occurs)
do not remove memory card for tranfering files because it takes huge time to reread in cell again.

very good phone worth every penny.......
merits:fast,slim,high battery power,symbian,music and video playback excellent,cam video quality is good,3g,wifi,tourch.
demerits:no front cam,no gps(so no navigation),no 720px movies,cam snap quality is bad.

ben, 30 Sep 2010wil it b exchanged for a better piece or am i doomed to fli... moreIf the screen is flickering under normal use (when it starts up it does a little flicker and brightness differences are apparent) but if it does any sort of flicker in normal use I would just return it and ask for a new one.

Asim Siddiq., 29 Sep 2010I have Nokia E63 in Black colour it's awesome phone, stylis... moreManufacturers do this on purpose: they don't want to use metal because of cost (and they don't even have to use metal; they should keep it uncoated plastic) but they ALWAYS try to make plastic look like metal by painting it. So it impresses kids.
The fact that they coat the most-used part of the phone in metallic paint is a sign they know just exactly what they are doing here. They fully know it fades with use and they want you to be reminded of how old it is. That is the way the game goes. And that is yet another excuse to buy another phone (which is in their best interests).

help! Cant update my firmware to version 500. It says due to internal error and i dont know what is the probable internal error. Any answers or suggestions is highly appreciated. Thanks guys.

its a nice phone but it has some serious problem. Such as it has no image editing system. And other is everytime i install themes from yhe website exept ovi it says certificate error,contact application suppylier. I dont know if i am having this problem only. Please helpme, sugggest me. How can i install theme from various website????

iv been readin comments on dis website frm may this year n finally bought e63 this monday frm priority dealer..great phone in all aspects...jus lovin it..butttttttt..t very next day t screen startd flickerin everytime i press buttons...i mean its only 2 days fr cryin out loud!n i dint even start usin dis mobile fully...wil sum1 plssss advice me on wat to do?my dad wil definitely nt get me any new phone for t next three years...plssssssss help

I have two sms in my inbox which i cannot delete each time i try to delete them it says !general. already in use - i dont have these messages in any other folder on the phone - any suggestions on how to delete them? Thanks!!

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2010This mostly happens if you have saved a numberr twice in ph... morethank you so much for that thinking about it now i had just put that number under ICE (in case of Emergency) and because it ws already saved under that persons name that must be why! So happy i have now fixed the problem! !!!

I have it about 5 months, have 110 hours and Nokia e63 is one of the greatest phone i ever had. Camera is nasty, but i don't used, this is imho the major problem.
