first check ur software version by dialing *#0000# and if it shows version 200.21.012 then u dont have to update. If it shows lesser version(100) then go to nokia website>software>nokia software updater. Download it acc to e63 and install it. Then connect ur mobile using usb to ur pc and open the software updater program and follow instructions.
Yes u can install the games and themes which u download from websites on pc but it must be compatible with device.
For antivirus download any one of them and enjoy it free for 1 month - kaspersky mobile, fsecure, norton, netquin.
If u want to i can mail u some games, themes and antivirus too. Mail ur email address to spiralinsane_17@yahoo.com

why are the themes from the internet (zedge) aren't working when it is being transfered in my E63? Even ownskin doesn't work. Good thing there are some nice themes from ovi, but it doesn't really satisfy me. Why is it like that? Answer please.

i got this e63 phone just about a month ago. It works fine, internet's fast, everything's great. I just wanna ask how the 3G works. You know, i mean im just an 8 year old kid can you please help me. One more thing, batteries aren't good at all it wont even last a day. How can i extend it? I really need help. ;)))

Hi got my E63 a month ago and i must say its the best phone ive ever had..good for internet specially for chatting..the cam is not that good but still it does the job..sound is too low on the speaker as well as the headphones but the good thing is its got a 3.5mm audio jack so u can use any of ur mp3 headphones to get a better audio quality..im using my sony walkman headphones with E63 and the sound is gr8..i simply love this phone:)

can I go to cyber cafe and just download any games, songs, themes, etc. will that cause harm to the mobile; really do not know, please suggest, help me please

Buddy i had that same query when i wanted to use wifi through my dad's laptop but now i have solved it. U can use internet on ur cell using wifi only if u have a wifi internet broadband connection and a wifi modem too connected to ur laptop. Otherwise u wont be able to use it.

If u have vodafone then call customer care ask if there is any internet service other than vodafone live ((like i have airtel and it has both internet services- 'airtel live' and 'mobile office' where mobile office is used for browsing internet and using orkut etc.))

But one thing that I want to know, how do I get internet connections?
All I can access is Vodafine Live and I do not know what to do; so that I can browse Orkut or send email?
Please guide me, help me.

this phone can be updated to the latest patch v300 by pc suite, and i highly recommend the update as it speeds up the whole phone by quite a margin.
yes it can access facebook but it can't play farmville unless you have opera mini browser installed. i've tried it with java enabled it can load but there's no flash player to load.

i got HP laptop and i jus wanted to try out a crazy stuff, got WIFI in de laptop as wel as on my e63.
(got broadband on latop,need less to say) bt i wanted to connect the e63 wit the laptop so tat i cn use the broadband connection on both the laptop as wel as on phone. i thought dont hv a wifi router bt i heard tat v cn make a wireless network from one laptop and cn use for data sharing.
if tats possible to use net via creating such connection thnhow cn tat be done.
me working on it for past 4 days and no success dude..
people put ur brains coz tis might jus save loads of our phone bills!!!!

just bought the phone for Rs.10,850 with 1 gb mem card..is a superb phone.wi fi is just amazing..3g rocks
