I bought the phone in black and it is awesome. e 71 is a wastage of money. business applications, reception even camera and sound quality are great specially when looking at the price taq

No, but you can download Google maps with Latitude, which is much better than Nokia Maps. Since E63 does not have GPS, you either use a BT GPS or depend on the communication towers that the phone uses to give your approximate location, depending on the range of the towers.

indian, 22 Jul 2009video call feature is there, but it does not have front cam... moreThat is not video calling. There is no video calling feature in E63 as it does not have a front camera. E71 has. And this can be used only with 3G service and ot with GPRS or WiFi.

I have had this phone for over 2 weeks and it is very good. The sound is not as good as S.Ericsson but I didn't buy it for that functionality.
It is very good and handles opera mini browser very well. It is uses same hardware as the E71 and the only difference is E71 has 3M camera and GPS.E71 also has a metalic back. E63 has a scratch proof plastic back.
Do get a leather pouch for it as it attracts some dust on the front side.
9/10 bcoz of poor sound quality.

Have been using this fone for the past month.
A real hats off to nokia.they rock.they just surely do.
Totally mesmerising.
I would advise all to buy and use this fone immediately. Its got the best value for money.

I am glad to learn that you have been given a new instyument. But be aware it is not new as there are two separate departments Sales and Service. Sales give you new phones while service gives you refurbished ones. The are as good as new but some parts have been changed from the likes of your old phone. And the old warranty stays.
Anyway, dont upgrade the firmware yourself. Always goto Nokia care.

Is this really capable of videocalling?
